When his career was on the rise, Hoang Le Vi married musician Truong Le Son. After giving birth, for a long time, the female singer faced postpartum depression and struggled to "find her singing voice".

Hoang Le Vi said: "One day, I woke up and saw that my vocal cords were no longer vibrating. I couldn't speak anymore. Later, I talked to a specialist about neurological diseases for postpartum mothers. It wasn't until four years later that I realized I had postpartum depression. I had to deal with depression for a long time and struggle with it.

Depression leads to myasthenia gravis. I have generalized myasthenia gravis so I always feel weak. Maybe I was very strong the day before, but when I woke up I was weak and couldn't stand up. The diaphragm is also a muscle, and if it doesn't tighten, my vocal cords won't vibrate."

The disease makes Hoang Le Vi unable to stand and talk. She also lost her inherent singing voice. One time, the female singer risked her life to lip-sync because she was suggested by a show choice. But then, she had her microphone snatched away by the audience...

For Hoang Le Vi, it was truly a terrifying period!

The more she sang, the more sad and stuck she became. Hoang Le Vi laughed at herself, when music was a "medicine" that comforted the artist's soul, but was not enough to heal the growing wound in her soul.

To "save" herself, the female singer decided to leave Ho Chi Minh City with her husband and children to return to Da Lat, starting a new life in a peaceful place.

In the land of flowers, Hoang Le Vi built a house on a 2,000 square meter plot of land, about 30km from the city center. She confided: "I like the countryside life, so I bought land, built a garden, and experienced farming work with my husband and children."

The female singer's house is designed beautifully, cozy and in harmony with nature. It has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen with furniture mainly made of environmentally friendly wood and bamboo. Hoang Le Vi also collects many old decorative items, pictures, ceramic cups... to decorate the house, creating a feeling of both intimacy and art.

The outdoor space was designed by the singer Van Anh Winter to make it convenient for families to organize intimate parties. In addition, on the porch, she can also enjoy "chill" time, enjoy tea with her husband, watch the sunset...

In the garden, Hoang Le Vi and his wife grow many types of vegetables and fruit trees such as persimmon, guava, star apple, chayote, pumpkin, sweet potato, eggplant, corn, chili..., and many flowers from persimmon, pentaphyllum, etc. dahlias, chrysanthemums, bougainvillea flowers...

Thanks to the skillful owner, Hoang Le Vi's house is always green and full of flowers and fruits. This place is truly beautiful and dreamy like Da Lat, just looking at it makes you feel peaceful.

Hoang Le Vi confided that when she left the city and returned to the forest, she felt true joy thanks to living green. After only one year of living in Da Lat, the female singer gradually overcame her depression and found a peaceful place in her soul.

"Living in Da Lat without rush or pressure, the quiet space helps me understand life's lessons. I learn to accept life's events, happily look back and know that I have to put all of those things in stay behind, it's safe," she expressed.

Currently, Hoang Le Vi only selects shows that are suitable for his time and health to perform. Most of her time is spent taking care of her family, enjoying the gentle life of farming and housework.

To immerse yourself in nature and feel the true joy of the countryside, the female singer takes care of the garden herself, without needing a maid. She also feels happier and healthier when she eats clean fruits and vegetables grown by herself and breathes fresh air.

To this day, Hoang Le Vi and her husband still occasionally receive questions about whether they regret their decision to leave the city - a place that brings huge income thanks to music activities.

Many people will feel regretful looking at it, but for her it is luck. The female singer shared that she is an adaptable person and does not have the tendency to stand on one side and watch the other. Only when she had to do more manual work here and was no longer an artist in the city did she feel true joy. "Happy to be connected to nature, to take care of the home completely, happy to be a useful person in this life."

The trend of leaving the city for the forest or the countryside is happening everywhere. Personally, Hoang Le Vi said that the decision to leave everything to go to a new land was not easy.

"You must understand yourself first. For what purpose do you go to the forest? To find a promised land to develop your business, or to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, to change your way of living close to nature, or to see People live so beautifully, so just follow them. These things are quite important because they will determine your adaptation over time.

My husband and I can live simply and are not attached to the glamor of our profession, so we are suitable for the tranquility here. We considered a lot, even though our income decreased and we rarely met friends, life was very peaceful, and we never once regretted wanting to return to Saigon," she shared.
