When invited to the police office to work, the person who posted the picture of the watch claimed that a friend, a watch repairman, sent the picture to him, so he posted it online to show off.

Following the traces, the police clearly determined that To Van Toan, after pledging the watch from Ky Anh, took it to be maintained and polished. According to valuation, Mr. T.'s Rolex Daytona Platinum watch costs nearly 2 billion VND.

Mr. To Van Toan and some related people, because they did not know that the watch La Thi Anh gave was the property that he had committed a crime, the police investigation agency of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department did not handle it. Absent from the court, but before that, Mr. T. had filed an application for dismissal of his ex-girlfriend.

At the trial, the defendant Anh said that because the two people were angry, the defendant exchanged money and later returned it, but the defendant did not intend to steal.
