At nearly 9 am on January 4, the authorities were still trying to implement the plan to pull the concrete pillar out of the ground to bring Hao Nam out.

Right from the night of January 3 to 4, leaders of Dong Thap province were always present at the scene to exchange plans with the forces to speed up the rescue. In which, the initial plan is to drill the spiral reel to a depth of 27m, then proceed to wire the cable into 3 concrete pipes. However, the remaining construction process is facing difficulties due to tight soil structure.

At the same time, perform the cutting of the concrete post when it is lifted. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested all forces to urgently prepare equipment and coordinate well to quickly implement the above plan.

Talking about difficulties in the process of rescuing victims, leaders of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee admitted that construction and rescue units faced difficulties due to equipment and machinery being moved from other places, the clay was deep and hard, but the The force worked hard throughout, with the highest spirit to hope to get the baby out of the concrete pillar.
