Two days after Thuong Tin's funeral, musician To Hieu, authorized by the late artist's family to speak on his behalf, officially addressed the misinformation circulating on social media, even inviting authorities to investigate.

Social media is currently flooded with posts calling for donations to help cover the cost of building a tomb for the male artist. The family asserts that these appeals are completely false and constitute fraud, urging the public to be vigilant.

According to musician Tô Hiếu, the family of artist Thương Tín did not solicit donations in any form, including financial support for the construction of his tomb. "Everyone needs to be cautious and report this to the authorities and cybersecurity agencies for timely investigation and legal action," Tô Hiếu emphasized. He stated that speaking out was necessary to avoid misunderstandings and to protect the audience from those who might profit from the artist's passing.

Sharing further details, musician Tô Hiếu stated that on the afternoon of December 10th, after the coffin of Thương Tín was moved to the family cemetery in Hòa Thủy commune for burial, the artist's grave was immediately constructed that same day. By the afternoon of December 11th, his final resting place was completely finished. The family affirmed that all funeral arrangements were handled by relatives, with no appeals for donations from outside.

He said he received the sad news from artist Thương Tín's family around 7 PM on December 8th and immediately traveled with Thanh Tùng from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Rang in the early morning of December 9th to arrange the funeral.
