Recently, AN Phu station (a station on the Metro line) has become very popular with young people. Gen Z often come here to take pictures because the architecture is somewhat modern, similar to a place in Thailand.
The minimalist and modern architecture of An Phu station with many light angles makes the photos here increase the visual effect, making the station one of the most sought-after check-in locations in the inner city for young people since Tet.
Many people bring lamp stands and reflectors to invest in their personal photo albums. As the afternoon progresses, the An Phu station staircase area becomes more crowded with people taking photos. An Phu station is on the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line. In addition to taking the metro, visitors can take bus numbers 6, 10, 52, 53, 55 to get to this point. Next to An Phu station is Thao Dien station with shopping and dining complexes. Many young people choose to combine taking photos and experiencing fun in Thao Dien.

In addition, many young people also choose to check in in the morning when the sunlight is soft. In the evening, the station space combines with street lights and flash effects for modern urban style photos.
Since its official commercial operation on December 22, the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line 1 has attracted many young people to take photos. In early February, the stairwell area outside An Phu station, next to Vincom Mega Mall Thao Dien, became famous thanks to the shootin.g angle reminiscent of the street corner under Siam BTS station in Thailand. According to records, there were dozens of young people taking photos in this area on Saturday morning. After checking in, many people moved inside. They took photos from the stairs, platform to the walkways to capture impressive frames.
In terms of shootin.g time, the morning from 7am to 10am is the time when the light is most beautiful, soft, less glaring and not too crowded. From 4pm to 5pm, the afternoon sunlight creates interesting light and dark patches, giving the photo more depth, but sometimes it is easy to get a yellow tint if the color is not adjusted properly. In the evening, those who like fashion photography style can take advantage of the light from street lamps combined with flash to have sharp photos with a modern urban style.
With a modern setting, many young people who come here often choose Y2K or streetwear-style outfits, prioritizing bright colors to create contrast with the gray concrete architecture. Over-the-knee clothes, crop-tops, bomber jackets or bulky sneakers are flexibly coordinated, making the overall photo more impressive. Many people also combine accessories such as small handbags, glasses or wireless headphones to highlight their personal style.
Despite the spacious space, many young people flock to An Phu metro station, which also brings with it many problems. The story of taking photos too close to the platform, accidentally stepping over the boundary line is also a problem that many young people encounter. Immediately after that, they were "whistled" by security to remind them to avoid danger.
Working as a supervisor at the metro, Mr. P. confirmed that the situation of many young people standing too close to the barrier often happens. "We have added red tape to warn passengers, but many people still try to cross the warning line to take pictures. We can't keep up with the reminders," he said.
Phi added that camera flashes are another problem that arises when too many people take photos in the boarding and disembarking areas. "This is even dangerous for passengers on the train because the flash can affect the train driver's vision," he said.
The supervisor said that the metro does not prohibit young people from taking photos, but only restricts professional crews. In particular, there will be people on duty at the platform area to warn and ensure the safety of passengers and metro facilities. In cases where violations are repeated after being reminded, staff will refuse service and ask passengers to leave the station.
