Duong Lam 'high on power', was secretly 'blocked' by a powerful force?

Le Duong Bao Lam's apologies are now commonplace and many viewers question how much of them are truly sincere and remorseful.

Artists making mistakes and then apologizing has long been a familiar motif in Vietnamese showbiz. However, "repeating" will gradually make the apology lose its value and become meaningless. A typical example is the case of Le Duong Bao Lam.

From shocking statements, controversy in the way of raising children to the act of chewing rice, spitting it out and feeding it to a colleague right on the livestream,... for all of these incidents, Le Duong Bao Lam apologized to the audience after receiving a series of criticisms. However, the level of sincerity and regret in those apologies is unknown.

Back in May, Le Duong Bao Lam caused controversy because of the way he mistreated his daughter, demanding a teddy bear that was not his.

When his 4-year-old daughter asked for a teddy bear from the employee, Le Duong Bao Lam immediately told the employee to do as his daughter asked. "Bring the teddy bear down for her quickly, and I'll buy another one tomorrow and return it. Take the bear for her, and return it for whatever amount you paid. Don't make her sad or angry," said Le Duong Bao Lam.

When reminded by the audience, Le Duong Bao Lam apologized and defended himself because he lacked experience and had little time with his children, so he spoiled them.

Or not long ago, amid a wave of fierce criticism from the audience, a series of brands turned their backs on rapper Negav after his statement promoting dropping out of school, Le Duong Bao Lam was one of the few people who went against the trend to defend his "junior".

Le Duong Bao Lam even declared, "If anyone hates him, they will hate him, all they need is a group of people who love him..." This statement is like a challenge to the audience, like "the last straw" and is the clearest expression of Le Duong Bao Lam's power-crazed behavior.

"A pot has its own lid", "Near ink turns black, near light turns bright",... are two of the countless comments expressing the audience's dismay at Le Duong Bao Lam's series of ridiculous actions and words.

Perhaps because the fame came too soon, suddenly from an unknown person participating in a competition to becoming the champion, "in demand", salary increased many times,... made Le Duong Bao Lam have illusions of power, forgetting the core values that an artist needs to have.

Looking at the rapid decline of Le Duong Bao Lam, the audience feels sorry for the male artist from Dong Nai. Instead of taking advantage of what he has to reach the peak of his career, Le Duong Bao Lam is losing himself.

If we had to use a title to define Le Duong Bao Lam in the Vietnamese entertainment industry, it would be difficult! It sounds paradoxical but it is true.

"Comedian" is not correct because for a long time, Le Duong Bao Lam has rarely appeared on stage. Actor is also not accurate because in the end, Le Duong Bao Lam's role on screen has not helped him leave an impression on the audience. And instead of trying to position himself in a specific field, Le Duong Bao Lam is making his own image worse, becoming a "thorn" in the audience's eyes.

If Le Duong Bao Lam were like any other normal person, no one would have the right to judge him. However, Le Duong Bao Lam is an influential person, with millions of followers on social media platforms, so his ridiculous antics and actions, whether intentional or not, will certainly impact the thinking, lifestyle, or behavior of a segment of the audience, especially young people.

So, in the end, cases like Le Duong Bao Lam need to be purged from showbiz. Even more broadly, "banned", as the entertainment industries in many countries are applying to deter artists.
