This week, at the Mai Thanh Thuy Show, singer Che Linh's son, male singer Che Phong, shared about his father. He revealed that although his health was poor, when he sang, he was like a different person.

He said: "It wasn't until 2006 that I met Che Linh's father again after many years apart when I went to the US to sing a show. At that time, I was singing, feeling a bit trapped, unable to escape.

My father saw that and immediately said, "Your voice can still go very high. Try to sing so that you can let the air out and push the air out."

At that time, I didn't understand how to push my breath out because I didn't know how to hold my breath in my stomach, so I just sang from my chest. Because I held my breath in my chest too much, I couldn't sing high and I still felt tired when singing.

In 2011, when my father returned to Vietnam to sing, he fell ill and could not speak. My sister was the one who scraped his back. I thought that if my father was so sick, he would not be able to sing because he could not even talk.

So when my father went on stage, he sang 33 songs in a row without getting tired and sang well. My father practiced like that for 60 years of singing, so even though he was old, he still sang well. This way of practicing was very special, like having another air chamber in addition to the air to talk and make sounds.

That is why many audiences often wonder why singers have hoarse voices when they talk but can sing clearly and with high pitch. Simply because singers sing with breath.

Every time I finished recording a song, I usually let my father listen. If he criticized me on any part, he would know what was wrong so he could fix it.

Singer Che Phong also revealed the reason for not living with his father: "Currently, I do not live with my father because he is in Canada and has his own family. The feelings between me and my father are still the same, as father and son, it cannot be changed.

The female CEO frankly declared that she "has nothing but conditions" so if there is a chance, she will definitely invite famous singer Che Linh to Dai Nam Tourist Area to organize a live show.

However, the audience is worried that with his old age and unstable health, he might have to decline this invitation. However, in reality, the health story his son shared happened many years ago. Currently, Che Linh is 82 years old but is still healthy, sings well and performs regularly.
