On the afternoon of October 24, Hoa Minzy shared the moment she first met the baby on her personal page. The singer revealed that she had a charity performance in Lao Cai so she stopped by the school to visit the baby. When she saw the baby, the singer from Bac Ninh could not contain her emotions.

"When she saw me, she hugged me tightly, it felt like my mother was hugging me. Little Bong, with a runny nose, ran out to greet her. I couldn't control my emotions at that time, I could only say hello and get to know her," Hoa Minzy recalled.

The singer knows that she should approach children slowly to avoid scaring them. She feels lucky that Bong is willing to hold her hand and listen to her conversation. In her eyes, Bong is a very obedient and pretty baby with a cute smile that makes you want to hug her.

The girl that Hoa Minzy adopted is named Hoang Thi Ngoc Lan, born in 2018. Ngoc Lan is the only survivor in a family of 6. Ngoc Lan's grandmother, parents, and siblings passed away in the terrible flash flood in Nu village.
