In the midst of the "statement convention", besides individuals who "post" the amount of charity donations to share on social networks, there are also generous donors who generously share with people affected by storms and floods a not small amount of money.
Recently, the whole social network was abuzz when they all played the role of a group checking the statement. It is known that after the storm and flood, the account of the Fatherland Front Committee continuously received donations from people all over the country. Along with that, the Fatherland Front also posted the statement on social networks and the check-var congress took place in an exciting manner.
At present, in addition to checking the "integrity" of individuals and businesses, netizens also expressed admiration for heartwarming transactions. One of them is the support of SSI Securities Corporation with the amount of 10,460,780,225 VND (more than 10.4 billion VND). This is currently the unit that supports the most in the list of statements as of September 15 of the Fatherland Front.
According to data provided by the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the transaction was made on September 13 through a Vietcombank account number with the content: "SSI Securities Corporation sponsors disaster relief for typhoon Yagi".
SSI Securities Corporation previously announced on its homepage about supporting people affected by storms and floods. The amount of money raised was raised from contributions from all employees of the company. In addition, this is only the first round of support for the disaster relief program, aiming to provide emergency support to people. In the next phase, the company will organize activities to support people to rebuild their lives.
Not only SSI, many enterprises and agencies also supported the victims with large amounts of money such as Bao Viet Group, Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor each donated 5 billion VND, TASCO Joint Stock Company and DNP Holding Joint Stock Company donated 2.8 billion and nearly 2.7 billion VND respectively. In the banking sector, each enterprise including Vietcombank, Nam A Bank, SeABank, Techcombank, VPBank, VIB donated 2 billion VND.
Many individuals and organizations donated large sums of money to provinces and cities affected by typhoon Yagi.
When natural disasters occur, many benefactors do not hesitate to donate large sums of money. During this time, even a contribution of 1,000 VND from the heart is still a contribution and gratitude. For those who do not have much money, they contribute by their strength and transport goods to difficult areas lacking electricity, food, and medicine.
However, there are also many cases of taking advantage of this sensitive time to attract fame, likes and views. Many cases of fake transfer bills and posting them on social networks to live a virtual life, these actions should be strongly condemned because they can affect many people and authorities.
Previously, Typhoon No. 3 Yagi made landfall in the northern provinces and cities, causing serious consequences. As of the morning of September 16, 348 people were dead or missing (281 dead, 67 missing); 1,921 people were injured by Typhoon No. 3 Yagi.
In addition, about 257,000 houses, 1,300 schools and many infrastructure works collapsed and were damaged. According to the report of the Ministry of Planning and Investment at the Government meeting on the afternoon of September 15, in addition to human losses, Typhoon Yagi caused about 40,000 billion VND in damage to people's and State's assets.
According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, as of 5:00 p.m. on September 16, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee had received a total amount of VND1,236 billion.
From the amount received and based on the damage situation of the localities, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee decided to allocate the second phase of support to the localities with a total amount of 650 billion VND.
The Central Relief Mobilization Committee said it will continue to update and publicize the list of supporting organizations and individuals on mass media in the near future.
