According to Law Online Newspaper (PLO), Mrs. D.TH (35 years old, Vung Tau), the 3rd runner-up of Miss Vietnam Global 2022, denounced the organizers of the prize-buying contest. In the letter, Ms. H. confirmed to spend 800 million dong to receive the 3rd runner-up prize. But during the competition, she had to spend more money, a series of side expenses incurred causing family conflicts.

Soon after, the PLO received more accusations, including an anonymous contestant (temporarily called Mrs. A.). According to Mrs. A., she bought a small prize on a voluntary basis. The extra prizes range from 200-300 million VND. She transferred this amount in the form of a split to Mr. HTMT's account - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam Global.

"I request to keep my personal information confidential, so as not to affect my life. I bought it because I liked the prize and was told by the organizers that the money would be used for charity.

The price has been fixed from the beginning, so I bid freely, if it is higher, the prize still belongs to me with the closed price. However, it's been more than a month since the end, I don't know how the money was used, who helped, where the money went. While I'm the one paying for it," Ms. A. told PLO.

Mrs. A. decided to speak up after learning that 3rd runner-up Ms. D.TH had to spend a lot of money after spending 800 million VND to buy the prize. Due to fear of affecting her family, Ms. A. decided to remain anonymous. She just wanted to speak up to be fair to other contestants.

"I have a career, a beauty, I was very hopeful. But when the organizers called me to ask to buy the prize, I was completely disappointed. So what are my efforts all these days? ", said Mrs. A.

Ms. A. also asked for account statements, especially those candidates who have transferred money to Mr. HTMT's account, compared with the final top 7 results to prove the purchase and sale of prizes.

Another contestant also confirmed to the PLO that there was a sale of prizes. She was called by the organizers to suggest the problem but refused. "I have audio and video recordings of this, but I will only provide them when I go to court. This will affect my family life," Ms. T. said.

Responding to Law Online, Mr. Trung Hoang, Topstar Communications Director (authorized by the deputy head of the contest's organizing committee), said that there was no contest to buy and sell prizes. Everything is just a verbal contract between Mr. H. and Ms. T. Ms. H. is the one who actively transfers the money.

"That contract is 1.1 billion dong, not 800 million. It's a service contract: clothing, makeup, media... This is an oral contract. H. transfers money himself every time a service is done. service.

Use a more advanced service, eat better, want your image to appear more directly...have to give up a separate service. The hotel is a 5-star beachfront hotel... Even one outfit can't last for eight days," Trung Hoang told PLO.
