The bride asks guests to celebrate at least 36 million VND or they will cancel the wedding

A "claimant" bride made extremely unreasonable conditions for guests to attend her wedding. When things didn't go well, she jokingly demanded an annulment, as a joke.

A girl posted on her personal page, sharing about her dream wedding story and disillusionment in real life. In a voice that sounded like she was a victim, she began by informing friends and family that she would be canceling her upcoming wedding just 4 days later.

"I am deeply saddened to announce the cancellation of the wedding."

She said she and her fiancé had a young son together. However, they have since broken up and will "not proceed with any future proceedings". However, there is certainly still relevance to the law for the sake of the child.

The woman informed friends on Facebook that she would be deleting her account and traveling abroad for the next few months to dispel the pain of this loss.

"How did this come about? I invite all my friends on social media — acquaintances, strangers — to sit down and listen," she wrote. "Before I start telling, I invite all of you (including those who have ruined my marriage and life), to put yourself in my shoes. For the first time, let me speak about the most painful months of my life."

The love story of the two began when they were boys and girls in school. Then, when she was just 18, she immediately received a proposal from her boyfriend. They decided to have children together and started saving money for the wedding.

She continued, "Since our love is like a fairy tale, we wanted to have a big wedding, in the presence of our beloved son."

When considering the wedding party, the two were quite confused in choosing the venue, then had to ask a fortune teller to help choose a venue, which was considered more expensive. The total cost is about 60,000 USD (more than 1.4 billion VND), not including the cost of airfare to Aruba (a constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, located in the southern Caribbean Sea), where the wedding was held.

The oddity lies in this share of the bride: "All we asked for was a little help from family and friends to make it happen. Specifically what I mean we SPECIFICALLY ask guests to give gifts in cash. How could we have our dream wedding without proper funding? We only ask each guest for about 1,500 USD (36 million VND)."

The woman admitted that a friend promised the couple $5,000 (nearly VND122 million) and her fiancé's family promised $3,000 (VND73 million).

She claims that asking each guest to celebrate $1,500 is not "off limits."

The bride was even candid: "If you can't contribute to the wedding, you won't be invited to our wedding. It's a once-in-a-lifetime party."

When the couple sent out invitations, only 8 guests who met the request would give $1,500. This makes them "angry".

Wishing to still be able to hold the wedding, the couple reduced the fee to 1,000 USD (more than 24 million VND) per guest and set up a GoFundMe page to raise money to cover expenses. When there was no option to raise "investment money" for the wedding, the groom offered to marry at a chapel in Las Vegas.

However, the bride immediately disagreed, saying she panicked at the thought of getting married in Las Vegas.

She confided in her bridesmaids: "I just want to be a Kim Kardashian on the big day of my life and then live life like a normal person."

The bridesmaid also gave her full analysis, hoping she would understand the problem. However, the friend ended up helplessly leaving the group chat and blocking her on all social media platforms, the rest of the bridesmaids followed suit.

After things went awry, she decided to call off her wedding and go away for a few months to avoid what she called "terrible society."
