In the film premiere program on the evening of August 4 in Ho Chi Minh City, the team shared that using AI to process images also caused the cost to increase. Referring to the incident related to actor Thuy Tien, co-director Bao Nhan called "Closing the Order!" the hardest project in his career. "Like the characters in the film, our crew also had to overcome a lot of difficulties to maintain an optimistic and creative spirit," he said.

And co-director Namcito shared that the film crew had fallen into a crisis and lost morale. Regarding the use of AI on behalf of the actress, he said: "AI is not a situational solution, but a serious investment decision to preserve the emotions of the work."

According to media expert Nguyen Ngoc Long, the problem here lies not only in the "stiffness" or lack of emotion of the AI character, but more deeply in the way the crew lacks emotional investment in the cinematic experience.

"When the audience realizes that the face, voice, and even the expression are not from the real person, the feeling of "fake" immediately makes them lose connection. This disconnection leads to feelings of being deceived, disrespected and negatively reacted to understandably," Mr. Long said.

He gave two prominent examples that used real-life reproduction technology but were positively received by the audience: the movie Fast & Furious 7 (USA) and the program ALIVE (South Korea).

"Technology, in those cases, is not the solution to the situation. It is a means of love, of gratitude and connection. On the contrary, Close the order! using AI as a way of "handling risks" without mental preparation, without explanation, without depth. The image of the AI character appears as an unhealed cut, not clearly stated and in the end, turns technology from a bridge into a barrier," Mr. Long commented.

The film crew of "Close the application!" also said that the film had been appraised and licensed by the Cinematography Department, ensuring legal factors when removing Thuy Tien's name from the poster.

The movie "Close the order!" has the participation of actors such as Quyen Linh, Hong Dao, Hong Van... The film belongs to the comedy, modern society and family themes. According to the distributor, the film is not only about massive online sales, but also lessons about life values and family values.

Earlier on May 19, Thuy Tien was prosecuted and detained to investigate the act of deceiving customers, related to the Kera vegetable candy. The incident led to the fact that movie promotion websites, movie schedules, fanpages and many other platforms... all hid, deleted information about the film or stopped posting.
