"Closing the order" for Thuy Tien to fly color, without a female lead, using AI to replace the whole

On the afternoon of August 4, at the premiere of the film for the press and media in Ho Chi Minh City, the director duo Bao Nhan - Nam Cito and the production unit Closing the Order! officially confirmed the use of AI technology to change the face of Miss Thuy Tien in the role of the female lead.

Before the screening, MC Nguyen Khang shared: "Facing the difficulties that the film crew faced, the director and the producer found a plan to replace the main actor to help the film be released in theaters. As the audience must have guessed, we used AI image processing technology to replace the female lead."

According to the record, the segments of the female lead are all processed with AI technology with another face, but still show some of Miss Thuy Tien's lines. Some viewers commented that the "face swapping" technique was handled quite smoothly.

Earlier on July 29, the film's official page suddenly released a poster announcing the movie Closing the Order! back", which attracted attention with the words: "Who replaces the heroine to close the single! back?".

Soon after, the release representative confirmed that Miss Thuy Tien would no longer take on the role of the female lead, but did not reveal the identity of the replacement. This has sparked a lot of speculation from the audience, in which the ability to use AI is said to be the highest.

From the time Thuy Tien was prosecuted (mid-May) to now, it has been just over 2 months, the time is too short to find a new actor, schedule a return to the entire segment with her appearance and post-processing. The filming, if any, will lead to additional costs. Therefore, many people believe that using AI is the most feasible option.

Talking about the decision to replace the female lead, director Bao Nhan only shared: "Close the application! ours is no different from an oil painting containing many surprises. We and the crew have worked tirelessly to bring the film with the most beautiful, complete and emotional appearance."

This is the first time a Vietnamese film has used technology on behalf of actors to handle a crisis. Although the film has not been released nationwide, this choice is predicted to cause many opinions.

The replacement of the image of an actor who violates the law or is entangled in a private life scandal is unprecedented in Vietnam, but it is no longer strange in China.
