The ARMY department is currently very unhappy about this story!
Recently, many Knets have been frustrated and tired because they have encountered the same topics so many times that Big Hit has not yet had a remedy. Some people commented that BTS was a "golden egg" for the company, raising the company to this level, but they received unworthy treatment.
One of the most typical cases and also the most confusing for fans is that the Big Hit staff has no concept of what a 7-member lineup is when they keep forgetting about one person and another. Most recently on the Korean online forum, a post has attracted attention with the title: "Big Hit, a weird company that missed BTS members twice in the same day with their Season's Greetings teasers group."
Accordingly, BTS is in the process of teasing the 2022 SEASONS GREETINGS goods with very interesting teaser photos and videos according to the role-playing concept "Stars transform into villains". However, in the post promoting the teaser image on Twitter, BTS's official account (@bts_bighit) omitted member Jin.
Specifically, there are a total of 2 tweets with 8 photos posted. The staff should have posted individual photos of the 7 members and a group photo, but in the end they posted the same picture of Suga twice and didn't post Jin's picture.
When fans were still angry about this omission, on the same day, Big Hit also uploaded BTS's preview video for 2022 SEASON'S GREETINGS SPOT #2. In a teaser scene, each member appeared in turn, but omitted V.
Not stopping there, the post also pointed out that last year when posting a photo of BTS's 2021 SEASON'S GREETINGS, this same official account posted a full picture of the 6 members and a group photo and then considered J- Hope "stealth".
Fans think that this shows the superficial working attitude of some Big Hit staff recently with BTS when they don't bother to censor posts and videos, but just do things arbitrarily. In fact, this is not the first time BTS members have been omitted in promotional videos and images.
Many times, radio stations, newspapers, advertising agencies, etc. have also let this happen. However, compared to these cases, the fact that the group's management company also "forgets" this member, the other member is really the hardest thing to accept.
Many Knets think that even Big Hit doesn't respect the number 7, how can fans demand or blame other units and companies if they make the same mistake? Some comments from Knet:
- Even the management company doesn't respect the 7-member lineup, how can fans blame other units if they make the same mistake?
- Jin, V, and J-Hope are always left out but the company has no intention of fixing it.
- That's why I want BTS to leave HYBE and set up their own management company.
- I don't understand... Not 17 people, but 7 people... They made a lot of money from BTS, but why do they always work so sloppy...
- I think BTS must have more than 10 members! There are only 7 people, why does Big Hit always do this? They are too superficial with the group even though BTS has carried the whole company on their shoulders.
- Other groups have more members and their agency hasn't made the mistake of omitting members as much as Big Hit.
- The members always cherish the number 7 and always emphasize that BTS is only complete with 7 people. Meanwhile, their company just casually ignores this person as if that number 7 is just a joke.
- Did they not check before posting? Why did they treat the people who made so much money for them so badly?
