As the group prepares for its reported comeback and upcoming world tour, fans have been eagerly awaiting signs of the group's activities.
However, a recent behind-the-scenes video featuring Jisoo and Rosé has raised concerns that preparations may not even begin yet, as the tour is just around the corner in less than four months.
Accordingly, BLACKPINK has officially announced a world tour on February 19 through social media platforms, with two opening concerts in South Korea on July 5 and 6. Next, the group will conquer stages throughout North America, Europe, and Japan.
Reports also revealed that the group also plans to release new music products before the tour begins, further increasing the expectations of fans around the world. However, joy quickly turned into anxiety when a behind-the-scenes vlog of Jisoo revealed a detail that shocked fans.
On March 30, Jisoo shared a vlog recording her solo promotion journey for "AMORTAGE", which included Rosé unexpectedly visiting the singer at a pre-recording session for Inkigayo on February 16.
The moment of reunion between the two members was of course very sweet, but what caught the attention of fans was Rosé's words: "This is the first time we have met since Christmas."
This means that for about two months, the BLACKPINK members haven't met in person â a remarkably long time for a group preparing for a global tour. Not only that, Rosé also confessed while Jisoo taught her the earthquake dance challenge: "It's been a long time since I danced" - a sharing that raised concerns about the group's training status.
This moment immediately caused a storm on social networks. A post on X (Twitter) criticizing the group's apparent lack of preparation quickly went viral, attracting thousands of comments: "The tour is going to be chaotic," one fan expressed concern, hinting that the group may not be ready to perform dozens of high-intensity shows.
Many others ask, "If they haven't even started training in February, how can they be ready for July?" Moreover, with the members' dense personal schedules, from Jisoo's solo project, Jennie's fashion activities, to Lisa and Rosé's international promotion schedules - many fans are afraid that BLACKPINK will not have enough time to fully prepare.
While some fans believe that the group may be practicing discreetly, many others have called for YG Entertainment to be more transparent about the group's plans. Because, with a huge number of tickets sold and expectations from millions of global fans, the group's insufficient preparation can lead to significant consequences.
Previously, at the end of February 2025, BLACKPINK announced the world tour schedule this year called "2025 WORLD TOUR", starting from July 5. However, what makes many Vietnamese fans regret is that Vietnam has not been named in the list of destinations for this tour.
According to information from the teaser posted by the group on the evening of February 19, BLACKPINK will start its journey in 9 cities including: Goyang, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Tokyo...
In particular, in the teaser, the ending scene is the image of 4 girls performing at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi). The success of the 2 concerts in 2023 makes many fans believe that Vietnam may be one of the group's stops on this tour.
BLACKPINK "hiding" for 2 years is still the "ideology" of Kpop, a reputation that is hard to overthrow Thanh Phúc06:38:48 21/08/2024Although there have been many changes and the members have not signed individual contracts with YG but have focused on projects and established their own companies. But BlackPink has disappeared for the past 2 years but its reputation is unrivaled by any other group.
