On March 25, the Criminal Police Department (PC02), Ho Chi Minh City Police said that it is coordinating with the unit to verify information related to the clip of a 3-year-old b.oy suspected of being f.orced to smoke banned substances, causing a stir on social networks. . The police determined that at 19:00 on March 24, a personal account posted an article with the content "Hope everyone share to help the police intervene to save the baby" with pictures and clips of threatened boys. and f.orced to smoke a suspected banned substance.

After grasping the situation, Hoc Mon district police checked at the address related to the article, and determined that there were 5 people from Quang Ngai here staying. Through their work, these people said that they have been here for 5 years, there is no case of forcing children to smoke banned substances as posted online. The person appearing in the clip does not live at the above address.

While the police were investigating, Mr. TMT (31 years old, living in Tan Binh district) went to the police to report and said that he was the biological father of the b.aby in the clip. According to the report, Mr. T. and Ms. NTN (23 years old, living in Tan Binh district) have been married since 2018.
