Anh Quan Idol: Hong Dang interface, Quan AP voice, praised for being filial

After life's upheavals, the singer's musical career was interrupted. The bumpy road also made it more difficult for Anh Quan idol to win over audiences and reach the word "star" than many other singers.

Anh Quan Idol is one of the outstanding singers from the Vietnam Idol 2012 contest. He has a masculine, emotional voice, known for a series of hit ballad songs such as: Co anh o day roi, Anh tan roi, Anh di nhe, Cam on vi tat ca, Vo tu... He is nicknamed "first-generation ballad prince" by many audiences.

Coming from a middle-class family in Ba Vi (Hanoi), Anh Quan’s father was a war invalid during the war against America, and his mother was a military nurse but had to retire early due to loss of working capacity. The couple worked hard to raise four children.

Unfortunately, his mother fell seriously ill. Anh Quan Idol had to go to Singapore for a year to sing at clubs to earn mone.y to help his family.

"When I first left the top 7 of Vietnam Idol 2012, I encountered many difficulties. I received many invitations to perform shows but still could not earn enough mone.y to cover my personal life, support my parents and invest in art. At that time, my family had financial problems and my mother was seriously ill. To have mone.y quickly and stably, I followed a friend's suggestion and went to Singapore to sing at a bar," Anh Quan said.

The singer of Vietnam Idol 2012 recalled that when he first came to the lion island, he encountered many difficulties as well as experienced all the feelings of loneliness and sadness when living far from home. "The hardest thing was getting used to living among foreigners. My foreign language skills were not good. If it weren't for the help of a friend, I probably wouldn't have survived in the beginning. Life in Singapore is very expensive. Singing at clubs also helped me earn a fair amount, but I had to save to have enough to send back to my family," Anh Quan confided.

In 2015, after his family temporarily overcame difficulties, he decided to return home to pursue his musical dream.

Returning to Vietnam means having to start over, Anh Quan said, he is not discouraged. The 1988-born guy believes that with effort and seriousness towards work, although slower than his colleagues, he can still build affection with the public.

No tricks

Recently, the song E is impossible by singer Anh Quan Idol unexpectedly entered the popular music charts. The song became popular, making the male singer gain a lot of attention from the audience.

It is known that E is impossible is a song that Anh Quan Idol released 1 year ago, composed by musician Dong Thien Duc. However, at the time of its release, it did not create much of a breakthrough. It was not until Anh Quan sang E is impossible live in the show "Chồn tim" recently that it "caused a storm".

Explaining this, Anh Quan said: "Maybe I am a rare person in Vbiz, when a song is released it will not be ho.t right away but after 1 year it will spread to a large audience. I'm afraid it cannot be one of my songs that has such a fate.

Previously, the songs "Thank you for everything", "I'm tired", "There's you here", "Indifferent"... were all the same. With the song "E is impossible", the audience liked the live version and the new arrangement in the show "Chon tim" because it was more suitable for the majority of people. I also didn't think the song would be loved by the audience so much, wherever I go I hear my song, that gives me more motivation to devote myself to my career and make more efforts in the next products".

Anh Quan thinks that E is not ho.t enough for him to see and believes that the audience likes to listen to singers sing live on stage, returns to receive quality vocals, and looks for liveband music shows more.

Speaking more about the comment "only ho.t songs but not remembered by name", Anh Quan said, sometimes he also feels sad.

"There are singers who only need 1 hit for the audience to remember their face, call their name and have millions of fans immediately, and their salary is also dozens of times higher. I consider myself lucky because I have many hits but have not been "remembered" because I only focus on singing and ignore the image communication. I am also afraid to show off, I do not like tricks to become more famous, so I accept and choose to conquer the audience slowly and sustainably", the singer of Thank You for Everything shared.

Faced with the comments "Hong Dang interface, Quan AP voice", Anh Quan felt happy, speaking up for the first time: "Since using the social network tiktok, the song Vo Tu, E is not ho.t on the network, many audiences visited my personal page and left that comment. I am happy about this because social networks are for entertainment, so I can get closer to the audience, so as long as it is not a negative impression, I can easily accept it".
