While the controversy was still ongoing, Vu Linh's daughter unexpectedly announced the cancellation of her show, drawing even more attention to the story.

On the evening of January 21st, via her personal page, Hong Loan announced that her performance on January 22nd could not proceed as originally planned due to an "unavoidable reason." She apologized to the audience for the last-minute change: "I hope everyone is not angry. See you again soon. I am very grateful and love you all very much."

Immediately after the announcement, some netizens sarcastically suggested that Hong Loan's show was canceled due to a lack of singing ability. However, according to Hong Loan's team, the reason stemmed from objective factors unrelated to the performance or the quality of the program. Currently, Hong Loan continues to appear in many programs and events and has a constant schedule of performances.

Immediately after the show cancellation, she responded to anti-fans by announcing a packed schedule for January 24th and 25th in the Mekong Delta, with three performances in Cho Moi - An Giang on the first day and one performance in Rach Gia the following day.
