5 Lines: Famous music group goes against the crowd; The members' different lives in the present

November 1999: the group "Du Ca" was born with the initiative of Lan Huong and Giang Son and then changed its name to "5 Doong Ke" (name given by writer Nguyen Trong Tao). The group released the CD Hello Ban Mai (with the group Khoai Tay). The trend identified from the beginning of "5 Lines" was to play musical instruments and perform their own compositions.

There was a time when 5 Lines only had 3 members left. Two members Giang Son and Hong Ngoc separated from the group to develop their own careers and take care of their families. Group leader Giang Son left the group because in addition to her singing career, she also teaches at the School of Theater and Cinema.

It can be said that this is the group with the longest "life span" in Vpop. And even though they are not at their peak like before, the lives of the girls in the group are still a topic of interest to many audiences.

Bao Lan - the group's leader and also the longest-standing member to date. When her name is mentioned, music lovers will immediately remember the group's once famous folk music songs. She is also the composer of a number of songs that brought fame to the group during its heyday.

Bao Lan once shared: "5 Lines is my second family. It can be said that this is the environment where I can develop my musical abilities and forte." While making a mark in Hanoi, the group decided to develop their career in the South.

Currently, Bao Lan has built a solid career in Ho Chi Minh City. She is both a singer and a music teacher. Being a secretive person, there is very little information about Bao Lan. The most recent time was when she appeared and agreed to be a consultant for the Huong Giang - Duong Cam team in The Voice Kid 2019.

Among beautiful girls, Giang Son is an indispensable name. She emerged with compositions that left a deep impression in the hearts of music lovers. must mention "Noon Dream".

Growing up in a family with a tradition of performing and studying Cheo. However, Giang Son chose Western music style.

The female singer married former member of MTV group - Le Minh. In 2013, she decided to go to America to live. On occasion, Hong Ngoc reunited with her close sisters several times.

The last piece of the puzzle is Thuy Linh, she has had a talent for singing since high school. Having just graduated from Hanoi College of Culture and Arts, she immediately joined 5 Lines.

In 2005, due to personal problems, she intended to leave the group, but after much consideration, Thuy Linh decided to stay. She is one of the last three members standing.
