After the breakup, Hong Ngoc met the show host Thomas Tam Nguyen and decided to get married and decided to settle down in the US, back away from the bright light of the domestic stage, becoming a woman wholeheartedly devoted to her family. The singer and her husband have three children together: the first child - Chan Hung, the second daughter - Hong An and the youngest son - Chan Hao.
