YouTuber Chan La Ca and "travel story telling" journeys

Starting work as a YouTuber and travel vlogger as a "newbie", after more than 2 years of operation, the name Chan La Ca has made its own mark in the community of "moving" enthusiasts.

Chan La Ca's real name is Hoang Minh Tuan (born in 1991), before becoming a travel vlogger like now, he used to be Partner Manager and Event Manager of METUB Network, the network. YouTube's multi-channel network in Vietnam. To get the current results, the handsome YouTuber had to work hard and try a lot.

Sharing about his decision to take up his current job, he said: "My life should have remained stable until I took a leave of absence from the company to participate in a cruise in 2017. Two months Sailing at sea through many different countries, that trip made my life take another turn in my career."

During those wandering days, the young YouTuber realized that his soul now belonged to the waves, windy roads, rivers, mountains, trees... not the table. working with papers with deadlines and red and green KPIs too.

Returning from a long trip, he plunged into learning about travel vlogger work with the desire to soon realize the dream of moving for his longing soul. All necessary information about the profession such as filming, editing or color correction is carefully collected and prepared by him.

"Although I've been online to watch and learn a lot before, the feeling of holding the camera out for the first time is "embarrassed" like the feeling when you first learned how to hold chopsticks to pick up food. Vloggers in Vietnam are still there. It's new to many people, so holding a camera while walking and talking amidst the gossip and curious eyes of people around is a challenge for me," Minh Tuan said.

After filming the vlog, the next difficulty for Tuan was cutting, editing and editing the video. For an amateur like Tuan, this process made the young man work hard and stay up many nights during the beginning of his new job.

Despite such difficulties, Tuan never intended to give up his passion, even though sometimes discouragement was always present. Because he has worked with many famous YouTubers in Vietnam, he himself knows that, to be successful in this field, it takes a process, not everyone becomes a star overnight.

"I would like to compare the work I am doing like a cake, it looks like a very delicious cake but not everyone can taste it, the cake is cut, sweet or bitter depending on the effort. each person's strength and luck", Tuan said while smiling.

Unlike many other travel vloggers, instead of being a person "reviewing" destinations, dishes... in Tuan's videos, the young man always wants to tell a story about a fate, a life life, a land or a culture. Therefore, instead of positioning himself as a reviewer, Tuan always wants people to see himself as a travel storyteller, content creator (a digital content creator).

Tuan's videos are often rustic and close-knit videos. Along with his inspirational voice, the stories and songs are conveyed by the young man in a very simple and pure way. That is the reason that currently, Chan La Ca is one of the travel vloggers attracting attention and attention from the community.

For Tuan, this job is sometimes very lonely and harsh, without real passion, it is certainly difficult for anyone to overcome the pressure of this profession.

Currently, due to the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, plans and plans cannot be implemented, Chan La Ca is still working hard day by day to be able to create quality videos, meaningful and inspiring to the community.
