The case of Tiktoker 4.5 million followers selling contraband perfume: who is the boss behind?

However, at the time of inspection, the inspection team noted that there was no information showing the origin of perfume products; on products displaying foreign languages, however, there are no sub-labels in Vietnamese as prescribed. At the bottom of the box there are barcodes with the prefix "697...". Goods showing signs of smuggling.

The General Department of Market Surveillance said that all products are sold mainly in the form of livestreams on e-commerce platforms such as Tiktok and Facebook when the business location is well-arranged with full livestream areas, order closing and computer areas to increase virtual views for videos, etc packaging area and warehouse.

At the packaging area, the inspection team noted that 2 pineapple sacks containing hundreds of orders were completely packaged perfumes that had been closed from the previous live session.

All seized products are sold on the Tiktok channel "Phan Thuy Tien". This is a famous TikTok channel with more than 4.5 million followers and is said to be owned by Phan Thuy Tien - a famous ho.t sales Tiktoker on the Tiktok shop platform in recent years.

Working with the Inspection Team, the Company's representative presented the Certificate of Enterprise Registration of a joint-stock company issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi City for the first time in 2018, the Certificate of Registration of Business Location registered for the first time in 2023.
