Vu Thi Hoa: Female MC crowned Mrs Earth International 2024, bringing fame to Vietnam

Vu Thi Hoa, a name no longer unfamiliar to the beauty community, made a strong impression when she was crowned the highest position at the Mrs Earth International 2024 contest. This is not only a personal pride but also the pride of the whole country of Vietnam.

Vu Thi Hoa was born in 1990 in Hanoi, Vietnam. She graduated from the National Economics University and is currently studying for a Master's degree at the same university. With more than 10 years of experience in the banking sector, Vu Thi Hoa is currently the CEO of a business and a professional MC, a familiar face on VTC1 channel. Not only successful in her career, she is also actively involved in volunteer activities and environmental protection.

Before entering the Mrs Earth International 2024 contest, Vu Thi Hoa was crowned Mrs Earth Vietnam 2024 in June. This was an important stepping stone to help her prepare thoroughly for the international contest. With guidance from Miss Phan Kim Oanh and the support of experts, Vu Thi Hoa has constantly improved her appearance, English communication skills and knowledge to conquer the contest.

The Mrs Earth International 2024 contest took place in the Philippines with the participation of 30 best contestants from all over the world. In the final night held on December 9, Vu Thi Hoa overcame opponents from Mexico, India, Japan, the US... to win the highest position.

Throughout her journey to the competition, Vu Thi Hoa made a strong impression thanks to her confidence, bravery and excellent performance in the competitions. In particular, in the Semi-final round, the national costume "Shine Golden Lotus" designed by Brian Vo helped the Vietnamese beauty shine brightly.

Inspired by Vietnam's national flower, the outfit stands out with its powerful bronze color, giant lotus petals on the back and sophisticated lotus motifs on the chest, cleverly honoring the resilient, pure beauty of Vietnamese women, perfectly combining traditional and modern elements.

Despite the costume weighing up to 10kg, Vu Thi Hoa still performed professionally and received cheers from the international audience. This special costume also helped Vu Thi Hoa convey the message of resilient beauty and overcoming difficulties - like a lotus rising from the mud to spread its fragrance.

Through the sub-rounds, Vu Thi Hoa also scored points with the judges for her confidence and fluent English communication. In the final night, Vu Thi Hoa excelled over her opponents from Mexico, India, Japan, the US... to win the highest prize of the competition.

Accordingly, the title of Miss belongs to the representative of Vietnam - Vu Thi Hoa. The first runner-up was awarded to the contestant from India, the second runner-up was to the contestant from Singapore and the third runner-up was to the contestant representing the host country, the Philippines.

In the behavioral round, Vu Thi Hoa impressed when she confidently shared: "I came here not only to compete, but also to bring love and pride for Vietnam. I want to let the world know that we Vietnamese people are not only beautiful but also rich in knowledge, courage and compassion."

Thanks to her excellent performances, Vu Thi Hoa also won two other secondary awards: "Beauty of Knowledge" and "Beauty with the most beautiful evening gown".

Talking about her journey, Vu Thi Hoa said: "When I decide to do something, I will be determined to do it to the end. I know that this year's contest has many beautiful and talented contestants. Therefore, I am even more determined to train for a healthy, toned body, improve my knowledge and communicate in English. I love my country and I want to let international friends know about the beautiful, knowledgeable and talented Vietnamese people."
