In addition to bab.y H., Mr. T also had a grandchild named NGB (7 years old). Due to conflicts, Ms. P broke up with Mr. T and took his two grandchildren to Ha Tien City to sell lotter.y tickets to earn a living every day. The children used to call Ms. P "foster mother".

At the police station, Ms. P confessed to physically abusing bab.y H because he lost his lotter.y ticket. Lawyer Tran Minh Hung - Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association - said that if the "adoptive mother" threw boiling water on the gir.l, if there are results of an assessment of the disability rate and there are enough factors, she can be prosecuted for criminal responsibility for the crime of "intentionally causing injury" according to the provisions of Article 134 of the 2015 Penal Code, amended and supplemented in 2017.
