Recently, Nam Dinh Club revealed that before the 2024/25 season, a Saudi Arabian club sent an offer to buy Xuan Son for 3 million USD (more than 75 billion VND). In the latest sharing, Xuan Son even emphasized: "I made a choice. I will stick my career with Bau Thien. I want to say that I am grateful for what Bau Thien has brought me.

The biggest problem of these players is that they lack time to adapt, and K.League teams are not really ready to welcome Southeast Asian players. I'm not criticizin.g any individual, it's just that we are not sufficiently prepared.

Of course, time waits for no one, this is a professional environment. Anyway, with all those experiences, I think it means a lot to them. I have faith that, in 3 years, a Vietnamese player will succeed in the K.League."

Before sharing about Nguyen Xuan Son, Lee Dong-jun was interested in midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc in 2022. Lee told the press that Hoang Duc can completely compete in Japan, South Korea and Europe. But the biggest problem was that Viettel Club at that time did not want Hoang Duc to leave.

"Viettel Club considers him as the center, the brightest player. My personal point of view and from the perspective of Korean football, when developing football is for the whole country's football, not for a club. I think Viettel Club should let Hoang Duc go abroad to play football. Why?
