The unit of the giant Nguyen Van Thien specializes in investing in energy production (hydropower, wind power, solar power), building materials (cement, iron and steel) and high-tech agriculture.

Specifically, in the field of energy, Xuan Thien Group has more than 20 hydropower, solar and wind power projects that have been put into operation with a total capacity of nearly 2,000MW. This group also owns many large-capacity solar power plants. With wind power, Xuan Thien Group is building a project in Soc Trang.

Regarding the construction materials segment, Bau Thien's unit is investing in a clinker and cement factory in Ha Nam and Xuan Thien Hoa Binh lime and light powder factory. This group is also the investor of the Nam Dinh Green Steel project complex with a total investment of nearly 100,000 billion VND (equivalent to nearly 4 billion USD) in Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province.

Despite owning a multi-industry ecosystem, Xuan Thien Group's business results in 2023 are not very positive. According to the periodic information disclosure on the financial situation in 2023 on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), Xuan Thien Group reported a loss after tax of VND 106.9 billion, while in 2022 the unit made a profit of more than VND 21.7 billion.

At the end of 2023, the unit's equity reached more than VND 5,869 billion, down nearly VND 106 billion compared to the end of 2022. The debt/equity ratio was recorded at 0.4 times, corresponding to the amount of liabilities of more than VND 2,347 billion. The outstanding bonds/equity decreased to 0, which means that CTY has paid off its bond debt.
