Mr. Mai Son, Deputy General Director of the General Department of Taxation, requested the Directors of the Tax Departments of provinces and cities, the Tax Departments of large enterprises to continue to urgently review and check synchronously and comprehensively the declaration, payment of taxes and the use of e-invoices of organizations, business households and individuals doing e-commerce business. doing business on e-commerce exchanges, affiliate marketing.

"In particular, it is organizations and individuals that do online business, broadcast live videos (livestream) selling goods and services...", the official telegram emphasized.

Regarding the collection of taxes for individuals and organizations of sales livestreams, at the regular press conference on June 1, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Chi admitted that online sales livestream activities generate revenue and may generate income.

Mr. Chi informed, regarding the results of the management of e-commerce activities and sales livestreams, in 2022, tax administration revenue is 3.1 million billion VND and the paid tax amount is 83,000 billion VND. In 2023, the revenue under management will be VND 3.5 million billion and the tax collected will be about VND 97,000 billion.
