V (BTS) caused a stir on social media on the evening of November 19 when he suddenly learned Vietnamese on livestream. From simple to long sentences, his series of adorable moments delighted Vietnamese fans.
On the evening of November 19, the Vietnamese online community almost "exploded" when V (BTS) suddenly opened a livestream and spent several minutes practicing speaking Vietnamese. Without warning, the male idol started opening a foreign language learning app and reading sentence by sentence, making Vietnamese V- ARMY both surprised and excited.
Throughout the broadcast, V continuously tried to read common communication sentences such as "I love you", "I love you", "Happy birthday", "Keep up the good work". He even challenged himself with a longer sentence: "How are your studies?". Although his pronunciation was sometimes not very standard, V still patiently repeated each word with a serious but extremely adorable attitude. At one point, he even turned to the audience and said: "Please help me a little." His sincere expression made the audience burst into laughter because of his cuteness.
In just a few minutes, clips cut from the livestream spread across Vietnamese social media platforms. Fans left a series of excited comments such as: "Basic Vietnamese, but you learned such long sentences!", "Maybe when I meet fans in Vietnam, I will call them 'My child!'", or "Are you going to Vietnam soon?".
Many ARMYs humorously speculated that this was a "heavenly sign" for a BTS concert in Vietnam: "If next year he stands at My Dinh and says 'I love you', I'll faint immediately", "The sign of a My Dinh comeback is so obvious!"... The comments flooded social media, turning the "V learning Vietnamese" trend into a viral topic all evening.
This is not the first time BTS has used Vietnamese. When the group came to Vietnam in January 2016, the members tried to say some basic sentences and even recorded a Vietnamese version of "Danger". However, many fans commented that the pronunciation at that time was quite strange. Compared to before, V was praised for his progress, especially when he quickly remembered the phrase "Kamsahamnida" and explained that it means "Thank you".
Known for his frequent interactions with fans, V frequently appears on Weverse to chat, especially during the COVID-19 period when BTS's schedules were affected. Every time he appears, a series of notifications pop up continuously on ARMY's phones because V not only replies to comments but also invites fans to... play games. It is this friendliness that makes fans always feel the close affection he has for the global ARMY community.
Just saying "Hello" in Vietnamese is enough to make Vietnamese fans "crazy", let alone this time it's a whole livestream learning Vietnamese from short to long sentences. The image of V attentively looking at the screen, practicing pronouncing each word creates a strong spread, making hashtags related to him trend in a short time.
Kim Tae Hyung (V) was born in 1995 and is known for his rare deep baritone voice in Kpop. In addition to his captivating voice, he also possesses such flexible expressive ability that fans call him "the king of expressions". In his career, V has made his mark with many impressive solo songs such as "Stigma" (2016) or "Singularity" (2018). Not only stopping at the role of a singer, he also participated in composing emotional songs such as " Scenery" and "Winter Bear ". The album received many compliments from experts and fans for its delicate and different musical colors.
