Trieu Tuyet Luc's 9000 heat points can't carry the main couple's acting

The movie Triều Tuyết Lục, as soon as it aired, quickly reached the 9,000-point mark and exceeded 20 million views per day - an impressive number for a project that does not have a star-studded cast or a huge investment in media. However, the situation has reversed.

Contrary to the initial impressive numbers, Trieu Tuyet Luc was caught up in a series of controversies about the quality of its content and especially the disappointing acting of the main couple Ly Lan Dich - Ngao Thuy Bang.

Getting bogged down in forced, illogical details

Trieu Tuyet Luc was expected to continue the success of the ancient detective series Duong Trieu Quy Su Luc, but the audience was quickly disappointed.

The film opens with a familiar massacre when Tham Hoan's (Ly Lan Dich) family is hunted down for being involved in the case of the King of Tan. To escape, Tham Hoan disguises himself as Tan Hoan, the young lady of the Tan family, and begins his journey to investigate the case.

Later, Tan Hoan met Crown Prince Yen Tri (Ngao Thuy Bang), who was also trying to find out the truth about the case of King Tan. They decided to cooperate in investigating the mysterious cases, following the clues to gradually expose the shocking secret in the royal palace.

Despite possessing an attractive investigation and revenge motif, Trieu Tuyet Luc's way of leading the audience left them disappointed when the plot was continuously accelerated, lacking depth and logic. Just a few minutes into the film, the female lead's family was harmed without a clear explanation of the feud or motive. While the audience was still struggling to grasp the context, the film rushed to the first crime-solving plot.

The more you watch, the more logical loopholes pile up. The first case, the headless bride in the flower palanquin, was staged dramatically, but when the case was solved, the details were revealed to be incredibly absurd. In particular, to highlight Qin Huan's talent, the screenwriter made the supporting characters "have their IQs drop" when the forensic doctor did not know how to conduct an autopsy while the female lead "rolled up her sleeves" and did everything.

Not only that, the styling was also heavily criticized. The female lead wore flowing clothes and was covered in jewelry but still "calmly" performed the autopsy without wearing a mask or gloves, causing many viewers to laugh because it was so unrealistic.

The main couple's acting form has declined.

Besides the loose script, the main couple's acting is also a big minus point that makes Trieu Tuyet Luc become the subject of criticism. Ly Lan Dich was once praised for her realistic acting in Nhat Lo Trieu Duong, but this time she disappointed viewers with her forced and emotionless expressions. Throughout the investigation scenes, Ly Lan Dich maintained a cold and stiff expression, reading her lines mechanically and dryly. Her acting lacked rhythm and did not create highlights, making it difficult for the audience to sympathize with the character.

If Ly Lan Dich was criticized for being stiff, Ngao Thuy Bang was judged to be weak in both charisma and acting. His long and thin face made the actor lack the necessary determination of a prince, and the way he portrayed the character by frequently tilting his head, moving his lips indistinctly, and looking blankly made the role of Yen Tri even more bland and unattractive.

In particular, when the two main actors appeared together, they also showed a lack of chemistry and chemistry. The screenwriter intentionally built a love at first sight, but the difference in temperament made many people compare Yen Tri to Tan Hoan's younger brother. One side was too strong and cold, while the other side was too weak and awkward, making the love line forced and difficult to convince.

Trieu Tuyet Luc initially had clear advantages when it owned an attractive historical detective theme, famous and attractive actors.
