In the early 1970s, singer Trang My Dung's name shone brightly, comparable to the singers of the senior generation such as Thanh Thuy, Phuong Dung, Thanh Tuyen ... Her deep sad singing at the time is a rare voice and completely separate. When her career was at its unfortunate peak at the end of 1973, she had to put her career on hold, unfortunately due to a serious accident. She recounted:
"In 1973, while on a tour in Central Vietnam, my car overturned and my jaw broke. I had to tie my jaw and I couldn't drink and stopped my shift for a while. One time while filming, I stepped down from the stage and lost my leg and suffered a fractured leg and spent several years in the hospital. After 1975, I couldn't go to há¼n but then I went back to the stage and chose songs that matched the body bá¼n to hάt."
After 1975, many singers went abroad, but she stayed and continued her singing. She has not been seen in music, theater and television venues for a long time. She occasionally appears in some Buddhist music and charity programs.

In Portrait of a Love Affair, the artist shared: "Going out on the street is no longer as carefree as the girl in the old days who went to school without anyone knowing." At the same time, singer Trang My Dung also feels happy and touched when everywhere she goes, she hears her voice.
The funny memory that Trang My Dung remembers forever is that once she went to sing, the manager came out to introduce the "lieutenant voice" Trang My Dung. The audience after hearing her sing joked and deflected into a "hybrid voice" because of her particularly husky voice.
Not only her voice, Trang My Dung said, her personality is also of the gentle type, so she is often chosen by musicians for sad songs. It was these lyrical songs that helped her support her parents to raise the whole family.
Trang My Dung said that her personality is very quiet and gentle, so she is often chosen by musicians for sad songs, not vibrant music. Trang My Dung also revealed that the lyrical songs have helped her raise the whole family, parents raised their younger siblings to become human beings.
When asked if she often sang sad songs so she accidentally got transported into her life and eventually chose to live a single life, Trang My Dung denied. The singer affirmed that it was all due to predestiny, she was not single for life because she was previously married but did not have "predestined children".
As for the breakdown of her marriage, singer Trang My Dung described that: "Nothing is too big, very normal." She added that after "going their separate ways", she still had the opportunity to see her ex again. Recalling that story, the singer of Two Rainy Seasons said: "I went to Da Nang to sing in 2005 when I met my ex-husband, very normal. He lived here, came to see me and took me out. A year later he died."
Turning 72, the singer still retains a rare youthful look. When asked about her current life, Trang My Dung said she is living a simple and happy life despite not having her own family. "I'm living with my dad and sister. My day is usually simple, waking up, exercising, taking care of bonsai, doing housework and then going online to read the news. Occasionally, I accept the invitation to sing for the sake of remembering the profession. Those are the joys of old age and I'm content with my life now," she said.
So far, the image Trang My Dung left in the public eye has always been gentle. Those who have met her recognize that she is very gentle, less nÏi, but easy to contact, easy to talk to and very cute in every gesture and word.
