Suga (BTS) has just reappeared on social networks with an uncaptioned post, which immediately attracted attention. The image of him wearing a black outfit and holding a guitar has caused antifans to flood in to demand a blockade, even asking to remove him from BTS's comeback lineup.
On the evening of September 22, male singer Suga of the BTS group suddenly posted a series of new photos on his personal account after more than a year of silence. In the frame, the male rapper wears an all-black outfit and holds a guitar. The post immediately attracted great attention but also sparked a wave of fierce protests from the anti-fan community, who even called for a blockade and excluded him from the group.
This is the male idol's first social media reappearance since August 25, 2023. Suga's return comes against a sensitive backdrop, as he has just completed his military service and is facing heavy criticism from his previous scandal.
When the past returns to haunt
Previously, in August 2024, Suga was heavily criticized when he was accused of driving a tram while drunk in Hannam-dong, Yongsan district, Seoul. The test results showed that his blood alcohol level was 0.227% - three times the level for which his driver's license was cancelled. Suga was later fined 15 million won in the form of summary prosecution. Immediately after the incident, he wrote and posted a handwritten apology, admitting all the mistakes: "My careless actions have hurt all those who have always supported me. I will live in regret and definitely not let this mistake be repeated."
On June 21, after completing his replacement duty as a community service worker, Suga once again apologized for the scandal: "I deeply regret disappointing and worrying, especially for hurting the hearts of fans. I also apologize to the members who have been under a lot of pressure because of me."
When repentance acts
At the same time, the male singer announced the establishment of a specialized treatment center at Severance Hospital to support therapy and improve independence for patients with autism spectrum disorder. He donated 5 billion won - the largest amount ever donated by an artist to Yonsei Medical Center. Not only financial support, many reports say that from March to June, Suga spent weekends volunteering, directly meeting children with autism spectrum disorder and contributing to building new therapy programs, bringing profound human values.
Currently, as BTS is preparing for a full lineup comeback, Suga's return on social networks shows even more determination to move on. With sincere apologies, record donations and a long-term commitment to the new center, all eyes are on whether Suga can regain the trust and affection of his fans. The battle between loyal fans and the anti-fan wave is still raging, but Suga's actions show that he has chosen to face his past mistakes with sincerity and practical contributions to society.
