Mailisa is a name that has been mentioned quite a lot recently thanks to her timely and appropriate charitable actions. The owner of Mailisa herself and her staff traveled from Ho Chi Minh City to the North to meet and give gifts to people affected by storm No. 3.
On October 14, businesswoman Phan Thi Mai, also known as the "boss" of Mailisa beauty salon, and her husband Hoang Kim Khanh attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 40 charity houses for disadvantaged households in Ban Rieng hamlet, Son Lo commune, Bao Lac, Cao Bang.
It is known that during the volunteer trip to support people in the disaster-stricken area due to the impact of storm No. 3 in the province, Mailisa Beauty Salon System proposed to the province and Bao Lac district to build a safe resettlement project for people in the landslide area, 40 solid houses for 40 households in especially difficult circumstances in Ban Rieng hamlet, with a total estimated construction cost of over 17 billion VND.
Each house will be built with a total area of 300m2, of which 70m2 is residential land, the rest is for other auxiliary items such as kitchen, toilet, drying yard... The design of the houses in the resettlement area ensures to meet the living needs and is suitable for the culture and customs of the people.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, the people will draw lots for land plots and lots. Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the construction units will focus on speeding up the progress and organizing the construction with the determination to complete the entire project so that the people will soon have a new place to live. It is expected that 40 charity houses will be completed and handed over to the people before the Lunar New Year 2025.
Sharing on her personal page, Ms. Mai said, "Mai Khanh and his wife are really happy because the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 40 charity houses "Khanh Mailisa Xom Ban Rieng Village" took place successfully. The estimated investment amount for this project is 17 billion, Mai Khanh and his wife will sponsor 100% without calling for any individual or organization.
After the construction is completed, we don't know if there will be any additional costs because Mai chose all the materials of reputable quality, but because the road is steep and dangerous, the cost of materials also increased, but it's okay, Mai Khanh and his wife have to do it to the end, the house design must be beautiful, fully functional, the house structure must be solid and sturdy, as long as the people are satisfied, happy and joyful, that's enough...".
Mailisa's post received a lot of praise and admiration from netizens. Many people expressed hope that this beautiful act will continue to be replicated, becoming a shining example for everyone.
Businesswoman Phan Thi Mai, also known as the "boss" of Mailisa beauty salon, is originally from Ha Tinh. Coming from a family of 2 siblings, losing her father at a young age, and her mother being illiterate, Phan Thi Mai's childhood was filled with hard days working with her mother to earn a living. She did many jobs, then by chance started a beauty business and gradually built the "empire" Mailisa as it is today.
After the recent Typhoon Yagi, facing the situation where many people in the North were severely affected by natural disasters, General Director Mailisa decided to spend her own money and go directly to the difficult areas to support her compatriots. Her charitable activities during this period were all broadcast live on social networks and received widespread support.
The charity program was carried out in two specific phases: Phase 1, Ms. Phan Thi Mai and her staff personally went to Cao Bang, Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces to hand over 3 billion VND in cash and 50 tons of rice to the people. Phase 2: The business couple will spend an additional 7 billion VND to improve the lives of the people and build spacious charity houses.
