Amidst the recent hot news about Chi Dan, An Tay and tiktoker Truc Phuong being arrested for organizing the use of banned substances, the police agency has recently officially released a clip of the interrogation and handcuffing during the working session.

On November 14, Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that through the expansion of the project of buying, selling, and transporting banned substances from France to Vietnam by air (project VN10), the police agency has prosecuted and arrested Nguyen Trung Hieu (aka singer Chi Dan, born in 1989), Nguyen Thi An (model, actress Andrea Aybar, also known as An Tay, born in 1995), Nguyen Do Truc Phuong (a social media influencer - Tiktoker, born in 1994) and many others to investigate and clarify the act of organizing the illegal use of banned substances. The above orders and decisions were approved by the People's Procuracy at the same level.
According to police, model An Tay was arrested while organizing the use of illegal substances at an apartment in Thu Duc City with Nguyen Do Truc Phuong. Police also found illegal substances in the female model's possession when checking the apartment. Singer Chi Dan was arrested at a location in Tan Binh District along with several others. Among them, the singer of "Lam vo anh nhe" was accused of having an organizing role.
Notably, following the motto of "not attacking the middle, arresting the whole network, the masterminds, leaders, and handling the subjects illegally using banned substances", Ho Chi Minh City Police have investigated and thoroughly handled the subjects who purchased banned substances to organize the illegal use of banned substances.
Including models, actors, singers and people with great influence on social networks; thereby, prosecute the accused, issue an arrest warrant for the accused to be detained to continue investigating and expanding the case.

Through investigation, it was initially clarified that these people had traded banned substances with a total amount of more than 28,000 billion VND. There were even cases investigated and proven that the acts of buying, selling and organizing illegal use of banned substances had occurred since 2021.
