At the same time, Chi Dan also apologized to the audience for his mistakes: "In the past few days, when I was brought back by the investigation agency, I also thought a lot about my criminal behavior. I apologize to all the audience, those who have believed in me during this time.

I would like to send a message to all young people, especially those who are planning to try drug.s or have used banned substances, to give up so as not to affect the community and everyone around them."

This is not the first time the male singer of the song "Mắt nhớ" has apologized. In March 2023, social media also spread images of Chi Dan allegedly working with authorities on suspicion of using banned substances. At that time, Chi Dan livestreamed, apologizing to the audience for disappointing many people in the past.

"I apologize to the audience who loved me and those who were sad and disappointed with me in the past. I apologize to my fans, all my colleagues, and those who have helped me. In the past, after the incident with my family and my love that did not go as expected, I did not live up to my profession and the feelings people had for me. Previously, on the afternoon of November 9, police inspected an apartment building in Thanh My Loi Ward (Thu Duc City) and discovered An Tay and several others showing signs of using illegal substances. Test results showed that the female model tested positive for illegal substances.

Meanwhile, Chi Dan was detained by Tan Binh District Police after being caught red-handed with several people using banned substances. All tested positive for banned substances.

The project has dismantled a total of nearly 500 criminal networks and gangs; prosecuted 1,132 defendants; imposed administrative penalties and made records to send 201 people to drug rehabilitation. More than 323.5 kg of banned substances, 12 guns, 3 grenades and many related evidences were seized.

Initially, authorities clarified that the defendants had traded in banned substances for more than 28,000 billion VND.
