Phung Ngoc Huy reunites with daughter Lavie after many years, her reaction is surprising

After a long time settling in the US as well as taking care of all the procedures, Phung Ngoc Huy recently returned to Vietnam to reunite with baby Lavie after many years of separation. This is also considered good news for baby Lavie.

Not long ago, Phung Ngoc Huy shared openly about returning to Vietnam, welcoming her daughter Lavie to the US to reunite and take care of her. True to what the singer shared earlier, on the evening of August 8, the singer through his personal Facebook page shared : "Prepare some things about Vietnam and forget me. Let's get up and compose. Has anyone picked you up?"

At dawn on August 10, Phung Ngoc Huy was also present at Tan Son Nhat airport. Just landed, the singer was picked up by the former manager of the late artist Mai Phuong. Especially, accompanying the late artist's management is baby Lavie - daughter of the late artist Mai Phuong and Phung Ngoc Huy.

He was quite surprised that on the outside, Lavie was smaller than he imagined as he looked at her on the phone. The moment the 2 father and son reunited, Phung Ngoc Huy was extremely emotional. He said: " You're not much different from when you two or three were on the phone, still lovely and reasonable. I looked at him, full of happiness."

However, as for little Lavie, in the first moments she was somewhat embarrassed, surprised because for a long time the two had never seen each other, but instead just Facetime calls. However, after a while she recognized her father and quickly hugged him.

According to Phung Ngoc Huy, he has been waiting for his return to this hometown for many years to visit his children and see his relatives. The singer plans to spend three weeks in Vietnam to handle his work, then returns to the US to wait for the bail process for baby Lavie to live with her father. In July, the singer became a naturalized U.S. citizen and proceeded to submit paperwork to welcome his daughter through immigration.

"It's fun for me to meet him, I haven't made any concrete plans because he's still in summer school," the singer said. Besides, on his personal page, Phung Ngoc Huy made many people burst when he posted a photo of the hands of 2 father and son intertwined. Accompanying it, he captioned it: "Put your hand on your fingers."

Sharing more about future plans, Phung Ngoc Huy said: "I also have fears. Because I'm a man and little Lavie is a developing girl, I don't know how to take care of her. But luckily I have a sister in Dallas. However, my daughter and I certainly didn't understand each other very well at first. However, I believe that when you live together, you will understand each other."

After the images, Phung Ngoc Huy's joy posted on his personal Facebook page received attention and congratulations from friends and colleagues. Earlier, in an interview on Vnexpress, Phung Ngoc Huy also said that although the two are a world apart, he often calls to chat with his daughter, both confiding in things revolving around Lavie's life.

"I commissioned two nannies to take care of the baby. The father and son often call FaceTime on weekends because the child is in the new school year, often learning online. Living outside the time zone, busy work, I have to arrange a reasonable time so as not to affect the baby's health. Seeing that my child was well taken care of, growing up, starting to have independent habits, I was relieved.

Lavie is my motivation to strive. I love him often in my heart, always wishing him to have the fullest and most peaceful life. I am gradually completing the paperwork and procedures to pick up my children.. To achieve that desire soon, I try to work every day, look at everything positively", Phung Ngoc Huy shared.
