Vietnamese remake film criticized: Thuy Ngan, Jun Pham responded harshly, revealing many violent scenes

7 years of unmarried will break up is remade from the famous Korean movie Secret love. When knowing that Thuy Ngan played the role of actor Hwang Jung Eum, many people thought that she was not strong enough.

Regarding these opinions, Thuy Ngan said: "When I received the script, I saw that director Hoang Anh rewrote it and read it quite differently from the original script. The film changes many character lines, the plots are also reversed to suit the lifestyle, people and era in 2024. So I completely focus on the current scenario, not following the old foreign script. I acted so that the character was smooth, showing the best story line."

Thuy Ngan also said that when she read the comments, she didn't pay much attention but was more devoted to her character because she knew this was a good movie. On the other hand, the opinions that appeared after the film was closed did not affect much.

"What I have shown recently, I believe this will be a desirable product in my acting career. I have used all my efforts as well as trained myself to be a different person from Thuy Ngan before," Thuy Ngan added.

As for Jun Pham, he said that he did not have too high expectations for the role, the audience was the one who decided but did his best. He said: "The role of lawyer Tuan Kiet is a precious opportunity for me. Since then, the directors have been making me sociable and obedient roles. Director Hoan Anh gave me a chance by "smashing" me gradually. First was the movie The Heroine and then this movie. The role is good but too different for me. And I was quite pressured for 6 months with Tuan Kiet."

In the movie 7 years of fiancé will break up, Thuy Ngan takes on the role of Thien An - a girl who lives in an ordinary family, suffers hardships and has a 7-year love affair with her boyfriend. Her life changed completely when she was entangled in prison and gradually became a completely different person.

According to Thuy Ngan, the role is completely different from her long-standing image. The actress takes on the character who is meek, feminine and tearful. This role also made her spend a lot of effort when she had to cry continuously for hours because of complex psychological scenes. Thuy Ngan also had a reunion with Trung Dung - her co-star in Glutinous Rice. If in the previous movie, the two played husband and wife, in this movie they have a distant relationship.

In the movie, there is a segment where Thuy Ngan is beaten and bruised by Trung Dung. Trung Dung recounted: "The scene where I beat Thuy Ngan had to be filmed for 4 hours in 1 day, so much so that I muted it. Filmed two segments for 10 hours in 2 days. The director forced me to hit Thuy Ngan, when I hit the last one, Thuy Ngan always collapsed because I missed too much."

Following the words of her seniors, Thuy Ngan said: "In that scene, I was wearing protective gear, but Mr. Dung did not hit the place where he was lined up, so I took it all every time."

Notably, the actress took turns playing intimate scenes with Jun Pham and Vo Canh. When asked about making sensitive scenes, Thuy Ngan said that she had a completely different experience with the 2 co-stars.

"With Jun Pham, the two are too close so they don't have any stress. As for Vo Canh , we have never known each other, so we were very shy when we first met, just hoping to make the scene shoot as fast as possible. Both were tense from the beginning to the end of the film, the director revealed that this scene was very violent. Fortunately, everything went smoothly in the end," the actress expressed.

It is known that Secret Love belongs to the genre of sad romance (melodrama), revolving around the love story of Do Hoon (Bae so Bin) and Kang Yoo Jung (Hwang Jung Eum). However, tragedy strikes when Do Hoon drives the car causing an accident and flees the scene, leaving Yoo Jung to suffer the consequences. After being released from prison, Yoo Jung became pregnant with Do Hoon's child but was betrayed by him.

In the midst of desperation, Yoo Jung meets Jo Min Hyuk (Ji Sung), the girl's lover who was accidentally caused by Do Hoon in the past. Min Hyuk initially treats Yoo Jung coldly but gradually develops feelings for her. However, their love affair is challenged when Min Hyuk discovers the truth about Yoo Jung's past.

Secret Love initially did not receive many positive reviews due to the content exploiting many gloomy and tragic episodes. However, after a few episodes aired, the film attracted the attention of the audience because of the impressive acting of the main cast and the attractive and thrilling episodes. The film's rating gradually increased steadily and reached a high of 16.3%, surpassing many other heavyweights.
