Not long ago, Pham Thoai caused a stir when holding a wedding in his hometown of Hai Phong. However, on April 1, the male TikToker denied getting on the flower car, which was actually just an April Fool's joke and received countless "bricks" from the online community.

Amid the wave of criticism, the male TikToker spoke out on his personal page: "I tell you guys, it is better that video I posted another day to say I can, but I posted it on April 1, I have no right to blame me.

Ignoring the issue of fake weddings, talking to PV, media expert H.Q said that the numbers announced by TikTokers do not make too much sense, because those livestream sessions are the whole support team, in which virtual purchases, buying and canceling orders are inevitable.

"The record revenue that Pham Thoai and other TikTokers put out is just for the purpose of burnishing their names and attracting attention, but in fact the number will be much lower. Currently, it is easy to hire people to buy orders on TikTok in social networking groups and groups, as long as users spend money, want as many orders as possible.

Many businesses are also not afraid to spend money to do it to make their children sell beautifully. Not to mention when TikTokers have many antifans, being "bombed" is inevitable", Ms. H.Q shared.

Remember in October 2023, a perfume brand said that it spent an amount of VND 220 million to hire Pham Thoai to attend the product launch event and livestream sales. However, after 90 minutes of livestream, the male TikToker only sold more than 100 orders, the total amount collected was just over 20 million VND.

Soon after, Pham Thoai made a video sharing about the incident. According to the male TikToker, the product price offered by the brand is quite high, this is a new brand so it needs a shock price, without discounts, it is difficult to sell because his viewer file is hunting promotions, wanting to buy cheap items.

"Before the livestream, we also affirmed that there is no commitment to any KPI, not only this label but every other brand so far," Pham Thoai explained.
