In early 2024, Oc Thanh Van took her three children, Coca (born in 2011), Cola (born in 2013) and Cacao (born in 2015), to study abroad in Australia. During her 1 year in Australia, Oc Thanh Van had to take care of her 3 children, while doing many jobs such as teaching yoga and selling online to earn extra income. The female artist also performed and took on the role of MC if the show producer called. Once, Oc Thanh Van had to drive about 50km alone to deliver goods.

The female artist said: "From my house to here is 50km, it takes 45 minutes to drive, every day I work and take the opportunity to send goods to customers like that. Whatever I find difficult will be difficult, whatever I find difficult will be difficult, but once I accept this shift, I have to accept the change and learn to adapt to it."

Oc Thanh Van said that her children returned to Vietnam and continued their studies here. According to the actress, their studies were not disrupted or they had to get used to a new environment because the kids returned to their old school with familiar friends and teachers.

Oc Thanh Van shared: "The three of us returned to school, back to our old school, so we just continued like that, without any disruption, even though the school years in Australia and Vietnam are half a year apart. Thank you to the teachers and the school for always welcoming the children.

Coca continued studying in the second semester of grade 8 (in Australia, she finished grade 7). Cola went to secondary school - the second semester of grade 6, much more mature (in Australia, Cola finished grade 6, in Australia, grade 6 is the end of primary school).

Cocoa is in 4th grade, the dwarf has finished 3rd grade, my child is a bit poor at reading and writing Vietnamese (afraid of long words and accents), but when it comes to speaking, I understand all the proverbs and folk songs, both literal and figurative. Learning is endless, it's fun, kids."
