Thu Trang's film was stable with 27 billion in the last 3 days of the weekend, 300 thousand tickets sold, bringing the total revenue to 194 billion VND.

Captain America: The New World earned the same amount of mone.y as "The Kiss of a Billion Dollars" but only won second place despite having more screenings. The film earned 26.5 billion VND last weekend, according to Box Office Vietnam. This achievement in Vietnam is far behind the global market, where Captain America 4 dominates the revenue.

Meanwhile, The Ghost Light still maintains its popularity, ranking 3rd at the box office with 21 billion VND last weekend, bringing the total revenue after 10 days to 98 billion VND, expected to reach 100 billion VND today. This is also the most controversial work in the media and social networks, becoming a box office phenomenon at the beginning of the year.

One of the reasons Thu Trang continues to dominate the Vietnamese box office is thanks to her active promotion of the film. Last week, the female director and her crew went to many provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Da Lat... to interact with viewers. This is considered a "move" to help "pull" the audience to the theater to watch The Billionaire Kiss with the desire to meet their idol.

During the weekend, The Billionaire Kiss earned VND27 billion, with 5,050 screenings. Although still topping the Vietnamese box office, there was a time when the film directed by Thu Trang was dethroned by Captain America: The New World, but it quickly regained its top position. The weekend revenue of the blockbuster project reached VND26.5 billion, with 5,564 screenings, a lower occupancy rate than Thu Trang's film.

Once competing for the top spot with Billion Dollar Kiss, but before the arrival of foreign films, Ghost Lights fell to third place in weekend revenue. Director Hoang Nam's debut film earned 21.2 billion VND, with more than 239,000 tickets sold. Up to now, the project has reached 98 billion VND. While Billionaire Kiss and Ghost Light have stable revenue, The Four Avengers has dropped sharply. From 3rd place last week, Tran Thanh's film fell to 5th place, after Captain America 4 and Rider: Delivering the Goods to the Ghost.

The Four Guardians earned just over VND12 billion last weekend, bringing the total revenue to VND325 billion. Rider: Delivering goods to ghosts - the work marking Mario Maurer's comeback - also had good revenue at the Vietnamese box office. Over the weekend, the Thai horror-comedy film project earned VND14.6 billion with over 162,000 tickets sold, ranking 4th overall. Meanwhile, Tran Thanh's The Four Guardians gradually cooled down after reaching the VND300 billion mark. The film's weekend revenue only reached VND12.5 billion, ranking 5th.

This week, the Vietnamese box office has new competition when Dark Nuns - marking Song Hye Kyo's return to cinema after nearly 11 years of absence - officially hits theaters. Not to mention, the arrival of Ancestral House (Huynh Lap) is predicted to change the box office landscape.
