Nguyen Linh Chi: The figure skating angel that everyone loves, 16 years old, owns 9 gold medals

Nguyen Linh Chi is currently the center of attention of Vietnamese youth thanks to her outstanding talent. With her beautiful appearance and impressive achievements, she deserves to be called the "bright pearl" of the skating world.

Nguyen Linh Chi, born in 2008, is a talented figure skater from Vietnam. Possessing big, sparkling eyes that seem to speak, a straight, high nose, smooth, porcelain-white skin, and silky, black hair, Linh Chi is like a muse from a fairy tale. Her radiant smile and delicate V-line chin further enhance the sweet, pure beauty of the young gir.l.

Ms. Vu Dieu Linh, Linh Chi's mother, said that Chi and her brother Nguyen Quang Minh accidentally came across figure skating while hangin.g out at the Royal City shopping mall. Passing by the ice rink, the two friends saw beautiful Ukrainian coaches skating, so they were curious and asked their mother to let them try learning.

At first, they were just learning for fun, but the coach recognized Quang Minh and Linh Chi's abilities and encouraged their families to let them both pursue a professional career. As one of the first generation of figure skating athletes, a sport that is also unfamiliar in Vietnam, the siblings' training encountered many difficulties.

Hanoi only has one ice rink, located in a shopping mall, the size is too small to meet standards, so you have to practice with other players. While ice skating is a sport that requires high speed and difficult techniques, you have to practice while avoiding other players (most of whom don't know how to skate), so it's easy to collide with each other...

The coach was very young, teaching and learning at the same time. Luckily, after that, the ice rink started to have tournaments inviting foreign experts and coaches to train, so Quang Minh and Linh Chi gradually found the right direction. At the same time, both of them were able to go abroad to train with highly qualified and experienced coaches...

"The two of them fell thousands of times, the number of times they hurt their backs and legs is too many to count, just to get the medals," the couple's mother shared. Thanks to their tireless efforts, in just a short time, the Nguyen brothers have become a phenomenon in the Vietnamese skating community.

With their graceful and well-coordinated performances, they "made waves" at many domestic tournaments. However, Linh Chi's journey to the top was not smooth. After her brother went abroad to study, she decided to pursue this sport on her own and tried her hand at the challenging "Solo Ice dance".

To perfect the high-tech movements, Linh Chi had to go through an extremely rigorous training process. In addition to skating, she also had to combine other disciplines such as: flexibility, fitness, ballet, contemporary dance... Each movement requires absolute precision, so she had to practice for hours.

Few people know that behind the beautiful appearance of an "ice angel" are the sweat, tears and physical pain that Linh Chi has endured for more than ten years. Figure skating is a sport that few people play in Vietnam and requires a foreign coach to accompany.

Finding a foreign coach, competition uniforms and training costs at standard ice rinks were not small burdens for Linh Chi’s family as well as herself. However, with a burning passion, the young gir.l overcame everything to pursue her dream.

With an impressive record of 9 gold medals at national tournaments, along with her beautiful appearance and attractive performance style, Linh Chi quickly became a favorite face of Vietnamese youth. In addition to her impressive achievements on the ice rink, the 10x is also an excellent student at Marie Curie School.

The secre.t to Linh Chi's balance between studying and exercising is thanks to scientific time arrangement and constant effort. She shared that, to be able to achieve the achievements like today, she tried very hard, thinking about how to ensure both studying and passion. Therefore, despite being busy with a tight schedule, Linh Chi always maintains good academic performance and is always at the top of the class.

At the 2024 National Junior Ice Skating Championship held from November 2 to 3 in Hanoi, she also had an excellent performance and won the Gold Medal in the women's "Solo Ice Dance Junior" category. This victory not only affirmed her talent but also demonstrated the 10x's tireless efforts.

Off the ice, Linh Chi makes many hearts flutter with her natural, sweet beauty. Her everyday photos quickly receive thousands of likes and comments.
