Independent, love movies since childhood

Ngoc Hung was born in a family of 3 brothers. Hung's father died when the director was 5 years old, and his mother had to support the children alone. But the first school Hung entered was the University of Social Sciences and Humanities of Ho Chi Minh City, the Faculty of Journalism. Hung chose the field of culture - art to pursue. Writing for a while, Hung entered the directing department of the University of Theater and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City, and graduated in 2004. At that time, the school had a stage called Young World, to create opportunities for students to practice. Hung and a few friends participated in running this stage. The time living here helps Hung hone his staging skills, as well as the ability to spot talented actors.

A few years later, Mr. Tran Dai returned to Saigon from abroad to invest in the stage. He named it Gia Dinh Drama stage. Performances in Binh Thanh district. Tran Dai's partner invited Ngoc Hung to cooperate in the role of director. Seeing that the stage was small and far from the center, Hung suggested to Tran Dai to move the stage to the headquarters of Young World. The owner Tran Dai found it reasonable, the school also agreed to rent. Thus, Tran Dai's Young World was born.

Tran Dai hires a comedian to be the art director. The Young World Theater failed miserably. Tran Dai proposed Ngoc Hung to replace the management position. Hung accepted the role impartially, to complete what his predecessor left behind. Continue to fail in the sense of not attracting an audience.

Make new stars

From those consecutive failures, Ngoc Hung began to look back at everything. Hung realized why the stage was not successful. Hung determined that the Young World stage must serve young audiences in a humorous and entertaining style. Horror, gay or psychosocial whatever, but there has to be comedy.

Hung put on a new show and invited the right actors to collaborate. Starting with Meritorious Artist Ngoc Trinh, then comedian Thu Trang. These two actresses teamed up to create a spectacular explosion through psychological thrillers. After 2 years of "burning money", Young World has started to get crowded and sold out continuously.

Ngoc Trinh is already famous, the position of Young World is more and more confirmed. Thu Trang previously performed in many other stages, but did not have the best opportunity. When returning to Ngoc Hung, with the role of "crazy" Lien in the play Painted Souls, it suddenly became a ticket sales name. Since then, Thu Trang has been a constant hit. Now, Thu Trang has become a particularly successful star.

Following Thu Trang, Ngoc Hung contributed to creating idol names of adolescence such as Dieu Nhi, Puka, Minh Du, Hoang Phi, Kha Nhu, Hai Trieu, Quang Tuan, La Thanh... Until you guys. This young man is busy with external projects, Ngoc Hung discovered more new factors. He trained them with the reality of the stage, so he always filled the cast of actors in difficult times when the theater was in trouble. Young World has now become Vietnam's leading box office success stage.

After nearly 15 years of working with Young World, Hung found that he had not released all his energy, so he founded Hero Film, a TV film specialist. At theater festivals, Hung collaborates with Ngoc Trinh to bring good plays to the festival.

At the same time, Ngoc Hung directed the online movie Family of Animals. Still with a humorous style, catching the youth trend, this series has been very popular. Before that, Ngoc Hung also had many movies screened online with millions of views. In this way, Hung has promoted many names and images of young actors.

Creating so many successes, but Ngoc Hung is still a quiet factor behind the scenes, behind the camera. Every day, Hung still spends time going to the lecture hall of the University of Theater and Cinema of Ho Chi Minh City to teach students. This director instills in them passion and attitude and responsibility towards art. Every night, Hung returns home to face himself in his single life, contemplating and composing. Ngoc Hung shared that she rarely feels lonely, lonely, because she is always happy with what she has.

This director said that in the past time, when he had many changes in appearance, Ngoc Hung received a lot of talk from people around.
