Ngoc Chau was born in 1994 and grew up from a reality TV fashion contest in 2016. When I went to work, I kept thinking about the three young children at home with no one to look after them. As soon as I finished working, I picked up my hoe and rushed home to cook for my children," Ms. Gai recalled.

To make ends meet, Ms. Gai works hard as a farmer. The mother of the reigning Miss Universe Vietnam said: "At first, I grew sugarcane, but then sugarcane became too cheap, so I lost money. I switched to renting land to grow cassava, then started growing rubber. Until now, I still tap rubber. Without rubber, I could not raise my three children to go to school."
