Miss Grand Vietnam is one of the beauty contests that the beauty fan community is looking forward to. Especially after the success of Miss Peace International Thuy Tien, every year netizens "dot" when the entrance contest and find a successor.

As of the evening of July 4, the official page of Miss Grand Vietnam has posted a new announcement related to this year's season. According to the announcement, the age limit for participating in the contest will be expanded, allowing contestants from 18 to 35 years old to register for the contest â instead of being limited to the age of 18 to 26 as before.
A representative of the Organizing Committee said that this adjustment is to ensure compatibility with the international rules of Miss Grand International 2025. They emphasized that this is a significant innovation step, helping to expand opportunities for many mature candidates, with depth of life experience and outstanding personalities â modern women with a positive spirit, capable of inspiring and capable of representing Vietnam on the global beauty stage.
In addition, in the latest announcement, Miss Grand Vietnam also officially denied the information about the suspension of the contest. Instead, the organizers confirmed that the next season will be launched in September 2025 â a month later than originally planned. This is considered a reasonable adjustment to ensure the best preparation time for the contestants as well as the new Miss before entering the international arena.
Miss Grand International 2025 is expected to be held in October. This poses a big challenge for the Vietnamese representative, because if the new Miss Peace is selected from the upcoming season, she will only have about a month to prepare before leaving for the international arena. The tight time fund makes many fans worried about the ability to complete the workload and the necessary training in a short time.
Meanwhile, on social networking platforms, there are many speculations that a runner-up from the 2024 season will be "chosen to send gold" to replace and represent Vietnam in this year's competition. However, CT Sen Vang â the copyright holder of Miss Grand Vietnam â has not made any official statement related to this information so far.
In previous seasons, Miss Grand Vietnam has become the focus of public opinion many times when it is entangled in a series of controversies related to the structure of the program, the contestants participating as well as the behavior contest. However, it is undeniable that the significant attraction of this contest on the Vietnamese beauty map, largely thanks to its direct connection with Miss Grand International â one of the prestigious and global beauty arenas.
Sharing about the criteria for selecting the new Miss, Ms. Pham Kim Dung â a representative of the Organizing Committee â once expressed: "When looking for the crowned person, both the organizers and the judges expect that girl to transmit positive energy, become a role model to inspire young people, and at the same time complete the mission and achieve achievements in the international arena. However, for me personally, expectations do not mean pressure. I always believe that everyone should give their best at each stage, but no matter how good they are, there will always be better people â so it's inevitable to keep trying."
However, in mid-May 2025, the public could not help but be surprised when the Investigating Police Agency (Ministry of Public Security) prosecuted and temporarily detained Miss Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien on the charge of "Deceiving customers". The case is related to Kera vegetable candy products â the results of an extensive investigation in the food counterfeiting project related to Asia Life Joint Stock Company and Sister Rot Joint Stock Company. According to the authorities, Thuy Tien holds 30% of shares in this product project and has received nearly 7 billion VND in commission. Although she knows that the product is not of the same quality as announced, she still participates in promoting with false content, causing misunderstanding to consumers.
Despite being well aware that the product does not ensure the fiber content as advertised, Thuy Tien and her colleagues still spread false information, causing misunderstanding to consumers.
