Nanon Korapat denounces close friend and manager for swindling money, asks law enforcement to intervene

Recently, male singer/actor Nanon Korapat caused a stir in the online community when he publicly posted an article accusing his colleague and former manager of embezzling money and gifts sent by fans.

"Hello,

I would like to inform everyone that my family and I are currently in the process of reporting and resolving the case according to the Law with my former manager.

I decided to share this because I felt that the incident regarding the fan gifts that people sent me was of interest.

Before I started working with this former manager, the arrangement of fan gifts, including organizing meetings, managing events, and controlling expenses, was all handled by that manager, with my family participating to support and coordinate certain events in the entertainment industry. Because of my trust in that manager, I entrusted everything to them, including fan gifts.

However, due to my own negligence and lack of checking, I did not consider carefully and led to this incident.

After my family and I had a chance to check again, we found evidence that the finances related to the fan gifts I received did not match the information that the manager had announced. My family and I were completely unaware of it before.

From this incident, I asked for advice from my company, and the company fully agreed to terminate the employment contract with that manager immediately.

I feel very sorry for this incident and will take this as a lesson to check all processes more carefully. I also want to take this incident as an experience for all other artists to avoid similar cases in the future.

Nanon Korapat was born in 2000 into an artistic family in Bangkok (Thailand). His father is Thai actor Khunakorn Kirdpan, and his mother is Thai-Vietnamese actress Poonsuk Kirdpan. Nanon has a younger sister named Pitchaporn Kirdpan. Nanon's maternal grandmother is Vietnamese and currently lives in Hue. The actor is also the cousin of Le Truc Anh (Gigie Chanunphat Kamolkiriluck), a contestant on The Face Vietnam season 2.

Nanon Korapat started his career by filming many TV commercials since he was 3 years old. Anyone can see him when Nanon was a little boy appearing on the packaging of a milk product that is widely available in the Vietnamese market.

At the age of 14, Nanon began his acting career as a guest star in Hormones 2. Two years later, Nanon Korapat took on his first leading role in Senior Secret Love: My Lil Boy. In this work, he transformed into a good-natured, handsome, and studious student, paired with Nanon's senior Thanaerng Kanyawee as Belle.

The film that made Nanon Korapat widely known to the Asian public is Bad Buddy - a Thai BL film that aired in early November 2021. Telling the love story of two boys who have been together since childhood, the film is considered a typical work for the "boy love" genre that is popular in the land of the Golden Temple.

Besides acting, Nanon Korapad can also sing, play musical instruments, and compose. The song Just Friends - OST of the movie Bad Buddy performed by him won The Best Theme Song award at the 27th Asian Television Awards (2022).
