Police of Tho Xuan district (Thanh Hoa) are investigating and clarifying the act of repeatedly using electric batons at the airport security staff of driver Dinh Van Thoi at Tho Xuan Airport.

On July 6, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Tho Xuan district police were investigating and clarifying that the male driver used an electric baton to fight against aviation security forces at Tho Xuan airport. The case has the sign "Against the official on duty".

Before that, at about 7pm, on June 25, Dinh Van Thoi (born in 1990, residing in Thach Thanh district) drove a car with BKS 29A-027... to Tho Xuan Airport to pick up his relatives.

When Thoi drove to the exit of the airport terminal, he stopped at the inner port road and entered the lobby of the terminal.

At this time, the aviation security control force reminded and asked Thoi to drive the car to the parking lot to let the vehicles pick up passengers in the port, but Thoi did not comply with the request. Before Thoi's uncooperative attitude, the security staff locked the wheel and invited Thoi to work.

However, Dinh Van Thoi did not cooperate, but also took a car repair tool to change the tire on his car and smashed the lock. After that, Thoi pulled out the electromagnetic baton from his pocket and pressed the light to threaten the mission force.

Before the above situation, to ensure aviation safety and security, Mr. Phan Van Suot used his bare hands to control Thoi, in order to take away the electric baton. Dinh Van Thoi pressed the electric baton to emit light, and pressed it against Mr. Suot's body many times to fight back.

In response to Thoi's protest, the aviation security forces controlled the male driver, seized electric batons and tire changing tools. At the same time, report the case to Sao Vang Town Police and Tho Xuan District Police to investigate and clarify, to handle Dinh Van Thoi in accordance with the law.

Through the above incident, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police issued a warning to people, when going to public areas, railway stations, airports, etc., where there is a force to patrol, control and maintain order... must strictly abide by the rules, regulations and instructions of the law enforcement force. All acts of opposition or disturbance, causing loss of security and order, are strictly prohibited.

In order to increase the effectiveness of handling similar violations, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam requested the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to direct the aviation security control force (KS ANHK) to increase vigilance. promptly detect and suppress acts of violating public order and discipline at airports, aerodromes, on aircraft; threaten the health and life of aviation personnel; protect the safety of people and employees working in the airport area and properties of individuals and organizations involved.

Airport authorities are responsible for strengthening supervision, timely detecting the above violations, and ANHK KS force promptly and strictly handle them. The airline side is required to actively coordinate with ANHK KS and port authorities to promptly handle acts of attack, threatening the health and life of its employees. There are active preventive measures to protect the safety of employees against violent and thugs.
