According to shared information, in early September 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Chien, known locally as "the long-haired fairy" - quietly passed away in his hometown in Dau hamlet, Long Dinh commune, Dong Thap province (now part of Tien Giang), at the age of 98. Mr. Nguyen Van Chien was born and raised in a simple farming family in the West. The special thing that made him a figure that attracted the attention of the domestic and foreign press was his unusually long hair. When combed, his hair measured about 4m, but if combed straight, many people said it could exceed 5m.
