My Anh - My Linh's youngest daughter: Performing since she was a child, is the bright gem of Vpop

My Anh is known as a promising Gen Z singer and producer in the Vietnamese music industry. She is also the daughter of diva My Linh, so she showed off her talents from an early age.

My Anh's full name is Truong My Anh, born on January 11, 2002 in Hanoi, coming from a family with artistic tradition, with her father being musician Anh Quan and mother being singer My Linh.

She was voted by Dep magazine as one of 15 outstanding young figures in the field of art. Throughout 2021-22, the female singer has the opportunity to perform in many international music events.

Not only are her parents famous artists, but Truong My Anh also has equally famous grandparents, musician Truong Ngoc Ninh and artist and editor Thu Hien. The singer's aunt is former singer Truong Huong Ly; and his older brother Truong Anh Duy, also talented in art. Both studied at the United Nations International School in Hanoi.

My Anh's half-sister - Truong My Ha (aka Anna Truong) is also a singer and music producer. Since childhood, this girl has had the opportunity to perform with diva My Linh in many music shows, most of which are community events. However, while growing up, there was a time when she did not want to follow the same artistic path as her parents.

In 2009, My Anh sang the solo song "I Walk in the Middle of the Yellow Sea" on the show "VTV3's Guest". After that, she and her mother sang the song "The Storm" in the album "One Day" (2011). Mother and daughter also previously performed the song in the music night "Charming Vietnam 22", which took place in Phu Yen province in March 2010.

In May 2014, My Anh continued to perform with her mother the song "Give Me Rice to Plow" in the program "Proud Melody". The performance received 85.91% of total votes from the audience at the studio and received positive feedback from the song's author Han Ngoc Bich.

In July of the same year, the young singer attracted attention when performing the song "Living Like Flowers" by musician Ta Quang Thang in the program "Favorite Songs". After Phuong My Chi, My Anh is the second child singer to appear on the show.

In 2016, My Linh's youngest daughter released her debut album "Songs for Bi", including songs arranged in chronological order recorded from 2009 to this time. The album was edited and mixed by musician Anh Quan.

The title song "Bi" was composed by male musician and written by diva My Linh, telling the story of My Anh's close dog, who grew up with her from childhood until his illness and death. In 2018, mother and daughter diva collaborated to perform the song "Morning Sun" in the album "Chat With Mozart II".

In August of the same year, singer 10X participated in My Linh Tour 2018 - Time as a guest singer. During the tour, she and her mother performed the song "Morning Sun" and performed the solo song "White Butterfly".

My Anh spent 3 and a half years studying classical piano at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. In 2020, this girl was admitted to the Berklee Academy of Music in Boston, USA - where her older sister Anna Truong studied. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, she chose to stay in Vietnam to develop her music career.

After that, My Linh's youngest daughter still plans to study at a domestic university in the future, pursuing a Marketing major or Jazz Piano major at the Conservatory of Music. Also in this year, the female singer released her debut single "Got You". The song is a graduation project at music school and she took on the roles of composing, playing musical instruments, arranging and directing the music video.

Besides, My Anh also introduces other experimental products through the series "Bedroom Session" on Youtube channel. In January 2021, she collaborated with Tlinh and Wokeupat4am to perform the song "Thank You", grateful to the medical team on the front lines fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.

After that, the female singer won the "Best New Face" category at the Green Wave Awards with the song "Real Love". In addition, she also received a nomination for the "Female Singer of the Year" category.

In April, the 10X singer confirmed her participation in the reality TV show "Idol for Idol". Here, she is the youngest contestant and also the only contestant to take on both the roles of singer and music producer instead of combining with another name.

The cover of "Real Love" performed by female singer and judge Khac Hung in the show reached high positions on digital music charts. In the end, My Anh finished as runner-up in the final night.

During this period, diva My Linh's daughter released two singles "Pillars" and "Yen", as for the song "Pillars", she was supported by her father Anh Quan and sister Anna Truong in the arrangement stage. In October, My Anh collaborated with Touliver to release the EP "Nau Lam, Oh Nature". The album is part of Nescafe's campaign for mental health during the epidemic season. Her image appeared on a screen in Times Square, New York, USA to promote Spotify's Equal campaign to honor outstanding global female artists.

In November 2021, My Anh performed at the music festival "Head in the Clouds" organized by record label 88rising, taking place at Rose Bowl Stadium, Los Angeles. In January 2022, the female singer representing Vietnam performed at "Round Festival" - an annual activity under the cultural exchange project between Korea and ASEAN.

In February, the original Hanoi singer attended the global online music festival "Double Happiness" also organized by 88rising. Her second studio album includes compositions in English, and will be released by a major record label. In June of the same year, My Anh released a cover of the song "Look at the Fall". The product belongs to the extended disc "Gen Z and Trinh", inspired by the two movies "Trinh Cong Son", "You and Trinh".

On November 15, youngest daughter My Linh released the song "Every Time I Look At You". This was My Anh's composition right when she was on the plane to attend her sister Anna Truong's wedding. What's special is that it was her brother-in-law who arranged this song.
