Minh Chuyen: Champion of Sao Mai rendezvous 2010, has not had a wedding even though he has 2 children

After winning the Sao Mai Diem Hen 2010 championship, Minh Chuyen left little mark on the Vietnamese music scene. The female singer possesses a powerful voice, she is praised as "The new muse in Phu Quang's music".

Minh Chuyen's full name is Nguyen Minh Chuyen, born on January 9, 1988. Minh Chuyen is a young Vietnamese singer known and loved by audiences after winning the Sao Mai Diem Hen 2010 championship. She graduated from the Vocal Music Department - Military University of Culture and Arts.

Musician Phu Quang once invited Minh Chuyen to sing in his music night, and Minh Chuyen invested in making an entire album of Phu Quang's music. Talking about her musical relationship with the musician, the female singer said: "Before, I sang a few times with him, but it was only at the request of the program, after that I didn't have the chance to meet him again. I have never sought anyone out, I just let things happen naturally. If there is a chance, we will meet."

"The time we met by chance, I sang a few of his songs and other music for fun. He complimented me and asked: Do you want to sing at my concert?", Minh Chuyen said.

The female singer sings Phu Quang's music more than Trinh's, but she said: "In the past, some people kept labeling me as the "muse" of this or that musician, but my point of view is that with any musician, the singer must have the responsibility to perform the best of the works they have chosen."

When asked if Minh Chuyen wishes to find a musician "friend" in her life to form a "perfect pair" like Khanh Ly - Trinh Cong Son, for example, the female singer said: "Nowadays, it's much different from the past. It's not just about singing a whole collection of songs by one author, but just singing whatever song you feel is suitable. Being attached to a musician is also fate."

Minh Chuyen registered her marriage with her husband at the end of 2019, when her son was 7 months old. Sharing about her small family, the female singer said:

"For my husband and I, the wedding and marriage registration are not the most important things. What is important is that our hearts are bound together and we love each other. Until now, my husband still urges us to get married, but I have not allowed it. I want to have another baby, get back in shape, and then get married.

I don't mind gossip because I've always been very serious about love. I devote all my time to my husband and children, not caring about other negative things.

Men who put their career first will be happy. I stayed behind when my daughter was little and have never regretted this decision. I found out I had a baby very suddenly, but I love children so I am happy.

Having a child has changed me a lot. From someone who likes quiet time and hanging out at cafes alone, I now devote all my time to my child. I postpone dates with friends to spend time with my husband and children. Many people get angry with me because they can't date me. When my child grows up, I will probably have more time for myself. My husband is also very open-minded.

My parents were very sad at first when they saw me almost neglecting my work. But I explained that I had a husband and children so I had to make a choice. Even though there was a lot of sadness and confusion, if I did well in the present, the future would be fine."

When asked if it was the baby that led to this marriage, Minh Chuyen said: "Living together is very normal now. Having a baby is a happiness, but not getting married because of the baby. We haven't had a wedding yet, we just registered our marriage after having the baby."

The female singer shared that her husband is a dentist with facilities in Quy Nhon, Pleiku... They met when Minh Chuyen participated in Thanh Tung's music night in Nha Trang. "I came here to do the music night and met a friend, and my husband is my friend's boss. We went out to eat together and then said goodbye. When I went to Pleiku to perform in Phu Quang's music night, I didn't expect to see him going to see it. Since meeting me, he loves music more and is less rigid," Minh Chuyen confided.

Before publicly releasing photos of her husband's face, Minh Chuyen was extremely upset when she continuously received slanderous messages with information that she had an illicit relationship and had a child with "a married man, old enough to be him".

Faced with baseless information, Minh Chuyen affirmed that her son's father is not an old tycoon but a handsome, decent young man.

The singer also said she did not want to talk too much about baseless rumors for fear of affecting her psychology. "I think things like this should not be too much of a concern. I myself am raising a small child so I will have to learn to be indifferent to things that affect my psychology," Minh Chuyen shared.

In October 2023, Minh Chuyen gave birth to her second child. She currently has a happy life with her husband and 2 children. The couple aims to take care of their children until they are older before considering marriage.
