On March 25, Dutch beauty Amber Koelewijn shared on her personal page the information that her mother passed away. Previously, Amber's mother was diagnosed with cancer.

At the Miss World 2023 contest, she was suffering from terminal cancer at that time but still booked a plane ticket to India to support her daughter. Sitting in the bleachers, even though she was wearing a necklace, she seemed very happy and satisfied because she saw her young daughter grow up at an international competition.

This made Amber feel emotional and memorable.

"Together, we were even able to share the experience of competing in Miss World in India. And on that podium, you shined not only in front of me but also in front of the whole world. You are the one who My child's best friend, always full of unconditional love and support," she shared.
