MC Thao Van choked up because of her son's gift, the meaning behind it was touching

MC Thao Van is admired by the audience for her extremely skillful way of raising her children. Not only is she a mother, MC Thao Van also creates a close bond like a friend with her children so that they can comfortably share their personal stories with each other.

In a program, MC Thao Van expressed her emotions when talking about the gift she received from her son. Before that, she gave Tit (son of Thao Van and People's Artist Cong Ly) some money to travel.

MC Thao Van choked up and said: "That was an old branded bag because I didn't have enough money to buy a new one. If I didn't have enough money to buy a bag, it wouldn't be right. Mom and Dad still have a lot to worry about, Tit is studying and has many plans. That bag took up 2/3 of the money I gave Tit to go out. While he was having fun, he thought about his mom, that was very precious."

Sharing about this emotional act, Tit Tinh Te said: "I remember my mother once told me that she didn't have any designer bags. That was her money for me so I wanted to give it all to her."

According to Thao Van, Tit is a very emotional boy who loves his mother. He often has subtle actions and gestures to show his care for his mother. There are only two mothers and sons in the house, but MC Thao Van always guides her son to an independent life.

Tit has a modern outlook on life. He is happy if his mother has new happiness and does not hesitate to call someone else dad as long as that person cares for and loves his mother.

Tit frankly shared: "I will call that person dad. As long as someone is willing to care for my mother, look after my mother, be good to my mother. And do that from now on, then that person is definitely my dad. I just got a new dad, my mother got a new husband. I really want my mother to remarry."

Seeing her son grow up day by day, MC Thao Van feels somewhat reassured. After many years of divorce, she still chooses to be single, devoting all her love to her son.

MC Thao Van was born in 1970 in Lang Son. She became a program host in the 1990s thanks to her active participation in youth union and association activities during her student years. After graduating, she hosted a number of programs for Vietnam Television ( VTV) and quickly became a favorite of the audience.

Few people know that Thao Van was once famous as a singer. She was specially selected to join the Art Team of Division 337, Military Region 1 with the rank of Second Lieutenant. However, after receiving the notice of admission to the University of Foreign Languages, Thao Van went to Hanoi to study. During her student years, she won 7 Gold Medals at singing competitions for students in Hanoi and nationwide.

Thao Van was once invited by musician Truong Ngoc Ninh to join the Hoa Sua band as the lead singer. In the program Quan Thanh Xuan, the female MC once shared: "I am an amateur, I did not study music theory but was favored by everyone so I tried hard to practice. I remember the early days of Hoa Sua practicing music in a basement in a house on Dien Bien Phu Street (Hanoi). At that time, I was also the only singer in the band, practicing music with Mr. Vu Quang Trung, singing a duet with Anh Quan. Later, when filming a program to broadcast on television, Hoa Sua had to borrow the stage at the 108 Military Hospital".

Thao Van is a famous MC on television as well as many events. In every VTV film press conference, she always takes on the role of a bridge, leading naturally and professionally. Thao Van admits that she is best known since hosting the show Meet at the Weekend starting in 2000. Up to now, she is still the main MC at Meet at the End of the Year - Tao Quan. She is the only MC who has been with the show for over 20 years.
